Job Title: Line Cook (High-Volume & Creative)
Location: Mount Shasta Golf Resort
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, experienced Line Cook to join our fast-paced culinary team. Our golf course serves a high volume of members and guests, especially during peak seasons and tournament days. If you have a background in professional kitchens, a positive "can-do" attitude, and a creative spark for developing daily specials, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
High-Volume Ex*****on: Set up and stock stations to handle fast-paced service for both à la carte dining and large-scale tournaments.
Creative Contribution: Developing and prepping creative daily specials that excite our members and guests.
Quality & Consistency: Prepare, season, and cook all menu items to exact specifications while maintaining high standards for plating and presentation.
Collaborative Service: Maintain a positive, professional approach with teammates and staff, ensuring every order is delivered accurately and on time.
Safety & Sanitation: Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards, keeping all prep and cooking areas clean and organized.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or country club setting preferred.
Mindset: A creative, solution-oriented approach and a consistently positive attitude, even under pressure.
Skills: Strong knowledge of diverse cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, frying) and expert knife skills.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed in a busy kitchen environment.
Flexibility: Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to the seasonal needs of the course.
Certification: An active Food Handler’s Card is preferred.
