Well, it looks like the back-to-school bug may have finally found me. 🤧

I’m not feeling my best today, so Muggs will be closing early at 12:00 so I can head home, rest, and hopefully kick this quickly.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for understanding. 🤍☕️

A Little Monday Change ☕

Starting this week, Muggs will be closed on Mondays going forward. ❤️

We’ve decided to give ourselves Mondays to reset, recharge, catch up on the behind-the-scenes things, and spend a little more time with our families. Sometimes taking a day to breathe is exactly what you need to come back ready to give your best. ❤️

We’ll be here Tuesday–Saturday, ready to pour your favorite coffee and get you fueled up for whatever the week throws your way. ☕

Thank you, as always, for supporting our small business and understanding the changes we make along the way. We’re so grateful for every single one of you who continues to show up for Muggs.

See you Tuesday! ☕💕

Today we’re closing early at 3:00 PM as we take a little time away from the shop for a very big family milestone. ❤️

We’re moving Addi into college. 🥹🎓 Addi will be continuing her education at Illinois Wesleyen University 💚

If you’ve been around Muggs from the beginning, you know Addi isn’t just “the owner’s daughter.” She has been here since day one — quite literally helping build Muggs from the ground up and playing such an integral part in making this little coffee shop what it is today.

From the months before we opened, through opening day to all the early mornings, long days, crazy ideas, hard work and everything in between, she has grown alongside Muggs. And while I am going to miss having her here more than I can put into words, I couldn’t be more proud of the young woman she has become.

Now she’s taking that same incredible work ethic into her next chapter — attending college full-time and competing on the Illinois Wesleyan University competition dance team. 💃🏼📚 Go Titans!!

Watching your kids grow up is hard enough. Watching one of them leave for college after helping you build something you love from the ground up? Well… let’s just say I’m going to need all the coffee, and maybe some tissues too ☕️😭

Please keep an eye on our pages this week, because we have lots to celebrate as our family heads into a season of some pretty big changes. We may be closing early a few more times so we can soak up every minute with the people we love.

Congratulations, Addi. We are SO proud of you. ❤️

And Muggs will always be yours too. I couldnt have done any of this without you ❤️☕️
