The Barn has teamed up with Daterra, Brazil, to help out with their sustainability mission. They are committed to plant 40,000 native trees over the next 5 years. The trees will be planted, managed and nursed by Daterra for at least 10 years. With every bag of coffee sold, not only are you getting some of the highest quality single origin light roast money can buy, but you are helping The Barn in their mission to help the environment. Ivan dos Santos runs the farm in São Paulo, Brazil, which produces the wonderful Ivan dos Santos coffee that we are currently using for our espresso. Working alongside his siblings and his wife, they have a partnership with FAF, to run an environmentally-friendly farm. Their water treatment facilities fully clean all water before releasing it back into the environment, ensuring a sustainable model of coffee production. With an SCA of 86, around only 1-2% of all shops in the world use coffee of this quality in their hopper. Come by 101 W Central Ave in Downtown Mt.Holly and grab a cup for yourself! THE BARN
