Yesterday, got to see our daughter where she served as the assistant stage manager for a Mary Poppins production. Watching her be part of something creative, collaborative, and bigger than herself was everything.

When you support small family businesses like Cafe Gianni, you’re not just supporting a restaurant. You’re supporting families, dreams, and opportunities for kids to be involved in things like theater, the arts, and experiences that shape who they become.

At Cafe Gianni, our team is the heart of everything we do. Beginning this week, we will open at 12:00 p.m. on Sundays in order to accommodate religious observations for members of our staff.

We are grateful for a team that works so hard to serve our community, and we are glad to support them in ways that matter beyond the restaurant.

Italian food has always been powered by strong women. In most Italian families, the real boss of the kitchen is the nonna. No recipes, no measuring cups. Just instinct.

At Cafe Gianni, that spirit lives on, especially with Nonna Maria’s tiramisu. We’re pretty sure she’d come back and set us straight if we ever changed the recipe.

This Women’s History Month, we’re raising a fork to the nonnas, moms, and aunties who passed down the traditions that bring us all to the table. 🇮🇹
