This week’s Athlete of the Week sponsored by Hollywood Pizza and Bakery is sophomore standout, Tessa Fourspring!

Tessa has established herself as a very accomplished multi-sport athlete this year at MCA. This track season, she qualified for the PIAA State Championships in the high jump, while also breaking the school record in the event earlier this season. She then went on to breaking her own record during the season. Her hard work, and consistency throughout the season have helped her become one of the top high jumpers in the area.

Additionally, Tessa’s success extends beyond the track this year. During the 2025-26 school year, she earned district championships in both Track & Field and Competitive Cheerleading, making her a two-time district champion in two different sports in the same year. She is also an impressive three-sport state qualifier, reaching the state level in Track & Field, Competitive Cheerleading, and Basketball this year.

Regardless of the season, Tessa brings leadership, competitiveness, and dedication to her teammates and coaches. Her ability to balance and excel in multiple sports at a high level is an accomplishment worth recognizing! It is a great example to her peers as well as our younger generation of her commitment to representing MCA well!
