Tristan and his crew from Travelin' Trimmer got after it this morning! By the time we got there this morning, they had gotten a LOT of our tree mess cleaned up.
And they worked all day to take down two HUGE trees and one smaller tree.

Ok. I know I forwarded a post last week that insinuated that there were aliens working here, but that didn't mean it was true!
Yesterday, during all the craziness, our printer just started printing all kinds of mumbojumbo. Krystal, one of our cooks, grabbed it and said that aliens must be trying to contact us. 😄
It DID look like that. And after all this time of people waiting for alien contact and what does she do, she throws it all away! That could've been an important message! 😂

So, I was not very educated about what is on the ballot today, so I just looked it up on the Oklahoma voter portal. You can enter your address and see what your personal ballot looks like so you can know before you go.
But it just shows you what is on the ballot. It doesn't give any information about the people running.
One of our staff members said she moved from California and they have a voters guide that gave information about the people running and the questions on the ballot. I haven't seen anything like that in Oklahoma, have you?
It sure would make it easier to educate yourself if all the information was in one place!🙂

You see, almost all of our refrigerators and freezers are toast. So we had nowhere to put anything when the truck came.

Today, we repeated our mantra,
"It's fine. We're fine. Everything's fine."😬
It was a tough morning/lunch.
Evidently this weekend's storm took out a huge tree, which fell on our powerline, which sent a surge into our building, which fried all of our refrigerators and freezers, and knocked out our internet, which knocked out our online ordering, and temporarily messed up our POS system and printer, as well as our oil filtration system...
We figured out how to change out our oil manually, then, our gas line to our main fryer sprung a leak, which made us have to lose our main fryer until Kyle could repair it..it was fun. 😬
No, really. We have a lot to be thankful for.
The tree didn't hit the building.
The building didn't catch on fire.
Many of you loved on and made our girl at the front counter feel special for her birthday. ( Happy Birthday, Candia!)
OG&E came very quickly to take care of the live powerline.
One of our customers is a tree trimmer and responded immediately to my post and came out to give a quote.
Kyle still loves me, even though I got snippy with him. 😬
As I was transporting stuff from my car to the building, someone pulled over and offered to help. It was Pastor Paul Daugherty and his son from Victory Christian. 🥰
Our staff was great at staying calm and just problem solving when another problem presented itself.
And most everyone was very patient and understanding during that time. Thank you for your grace. It was a little stressful. 😬🤣
