Sunday was our 3rd annual SLAY Competition, and I am sad to report that Gem State was victorious and defeated team Mikey’s by just the teeniest tiniest margin…. Not only do they get bragging rights, but they will get to display the glorious trophy at Gem State. (That is, until next year’s battle when Mikey’s will once again reign supreme and the trophy will return to its rightful home!). Fun was had by all! Go teams!!!

This is Mikey’s Mediterranean Grinder- a cold chopped salad of gyro meat, feta, garlic aioli, lettuce, red onion, black olives and pepperoncini, served sando style on a pita with cucumber yogurt dipping sauce.
