We’ve made it home from the short trip to Sizzlin on 66 in Granite City, IL. Pretty happy with our cook today even though our SLBS family keeps us up to late. The judges somewhat agreed.

Good enough for 8th overall in a field of heavy hitters. Congrats to our great friends. Take It Easy BBQ on the GC and Three Stooges BBQ Competition Team on RGC. And to everyone else that heard their name called.

Home and somewhat unloaded from other great comp at Trekking for CDH in Pierron,IL. This comp is one of favorites and always a great time. Thanks to Korte Meat Processing and all the crew that put in so many hours to make this an awesome comp for a great cause.

We had a good cook and thought we turned in good boxes, but the judges didn’t agree wholeheartedly.

Not a bad day at Bass' River Resort for the annual BBQ Bash. Always good seeing our friends we don’t get to see often enough.

Little bit different than our usual competitions but alaways a good time.

Bloody Mary not sure where we placed but my version making it green may have been a little too outside the box.

Well…we made the peer pressured trip to Newton American Legion Post 20 Smoke Off this weekend but left our A game at home.

Well the trip to Hornersville wasn’t as productive as we would have liked but still an awesome weekend with some of our favorite people and field of more than 40 world class steak and ancillary cooks.
