I know this is long but well worth the read!!!!
🌅 BE AN ATMOSPHERE CHANGER! 🌅
Yesterday our sermon came from Acts 16:25–34.
Paul and Silas were in prison. Their surroundings were terrible—dark, gloomy, and hopeless. They had been beaten with rods, thrown into the inner dungeon, and their feet were fastened in stocks.
But about midnight, Paul and Silas weren’t complaining.
They were praying and singing hymns to God. 🙌
And the Bible tells us something I don’t want you to miss:
The other prisoners were listening.
That made me think…
👉 Who is listening to you in your midnight?
Who is watching you during the darkest season of your life?
People are watching how we walk through the hard places. They’re watching to see if our faith is only for the good days—or if we will still praise God at midnight.
Then SUDDENLY there was a massive earthquake! The prison was shaken to its foundation. The doors flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!
The jailer woke up, saw the prison doors open, and thought everyone had escaped. He was about to take his own life when Paul shouted:
“Stop! Don’t kill yourself! We are all here!”
—Acts 16:28 NLT
Maybe somebody needs to hear that today:
❤️ PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP.
Your midnight is not the end of your story.
The jailer fell before Paul and Silas and asked:
“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
They replied:
“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
—Acts 16:31 NLT
That very night, the jailer washed their wounds, and he and his household were baptized!
Look what God did in the middle of a prison!
Pastor Frank Staples said something yesterday that I’m carrying with me:
🔥 “BE AN ATMOSPHERE CHANGER!” 🔥
Paul and Silas didn’t allow the atmosphere of the prison to change them.
THEY CHANGED THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE PRISON!
So today, walk into the room carrying JESUS.
Walk into your workplace carrying JESUS.
Walk into your home carrying JESUS.
Walk into somebody else’s midnight carrying JESUS.
✨ Light outshines darkness! ✨
May we walk into rooms today and change the atmosphere—not because of who we are, but because of WHO lives within us!
GLORY TO GOD!!! 🙌❤️
Love you all! Have a wonderful Monday!
