One of the best things about being a small shop is getting to say "yes" to special requests. Whether it's a favorite treat, a family tradition, or something to make an occasion a little more special, we love being part of those moments.

Some things in life stay the same. Like the third Tuesday of the month is Silent Book Club. We start at 6:00 and end by 8:00. Bring your own book. All ages welcome!

But other things do change. We've been making some upgrades to the shop, including our new baked goods display area. The new display opens up the area in a welcoming way. Baked goods are easier to see and so are our customers!

Currently we have chocolate espresso cupcakes with fudge icing, blueberry pomegranate scones, Apple scones, mountain Cherry muffins, cinnamon bread, whoopie pies, and chocolate cookies. And right now, all of our baked goods are also gluten free!

Don't forget our homemade ice cream. All of them are flavored with our teas and coffees: strawberry, peach, mocha, and tropical breeze. Flavors rotate, so get them while you can!

But some things never change. At AntiquiTea House time is different and community is always encouraged.

Tuesday means Silent Book Club from 6:00–8:00 PM.

Bring whatever you're reading, grab your favorite drink, and enjoy a couple of peaceful hours with fellow book lovers. No assigned reading. No pressure. Just books, tea, coffee, and community.

And if you're stopping by this week, don't miss our gluten-free Chocolate Espresso Cupcakes with fudge icing. Raia volunteered to do some quality control and can confirm they're worth reading one more chapter for. 😉

This week is also Raia's last regular week behind the bar. She's been part of AntiquiTea House for several years, serving drinks, greeting customers, and helping make this place feel like home. While you'll still see her filling in from time to time, we'd love for you to stop by and wish her well as she begins her next chapter.

Summer, like life, isn't always sunshine. ☀️ 🌧️

But flowers still bloom, tea still tastes good, and sometimes a rainy day is the perfect excuse to slow down for a few minutes.

We’re excited to share the transformation of our front steps and entrance area. A huge thank you to Cardinal Curbing for their hard work and craftsmanship in helping us create a more welcoming entrance for our guests.

What started as an idea to make our shop easier to find and enjoy is becoming a beautiful outdoor space where friends can gather over tea, coffee, lunch, and conversation. Our new seating area is ready for you to enjoy, and this is only the beginning. We have several more beautification projects planned as we continue investing in the shop and the community we love.

Whether you're walking from the Evansdale campus, taking a break from Ruby Hospital, or heading to a game at the stadium, we're just a short walk away.

Come see what's new, grab a drink, and enjoy our outdoor space. We think you'll like where we're headed.

🐾⚾ Sunshine, baseball, and bakery treats... sounds like a perfect West Virginia weekend!

Atticus stopped by for a pup cup this week and gave it two paws up. 🐶❤️

Meanwhile, our bakery case is stocked with favorites, including a GF cinnamon-almond yeast coffee cake topped with chocolate frosting that's just begging to be paired with a fresh cup of coffee.

With WVU Baseball coming off a big win and playing again today at noon, Morgantown is buzzing. If you're headed to the game or looking for a place to relax before or after, we're just a few minutes away from all the action.

The weather is beautiful, our patio is waiting, and unlike the crowds up on the hill, there's room here to slow down, enjoy a drink, and maybe share a pup cup with your favorite companion.

One of the best parts of being a small business is working with other local businesses. ❤️

We've been baking gluten-free bread at AntiquiTea House, and we're excited that it is now being served at The Weekend Bistro and Bar!
