This month is filled with West Virginia lore and legends. Each week will feature a new cryptid drink. Find the hidden cryptid poster in the shop, take a selfie, post and tag us, and get a free cookie with your drink! Good for any drink.

We also have a new drinks menu that will last all month. It features West Virginia Legends of flight. A dollar from each specialty drink this month will go to the West Virginia University Design Build Fly Club.

One of the things I love about this shop is seeing people come back. ❤️

A doctor who spent a lot of his residency here now lives in another state, but whenever he returns to Morgantown to visit friends, he makes a point of stopping in to see us. His life has changed a lot since those days of studying at our tables, but somehow we’re still one of his stops.

Today feels a little like that. Things are changing, but the familiar things aren’t going anywhere.

It’s the last day of the Ruby Hospital Farmers Market, and the last day of our September drink menu. That includes the Spiced Sycamore, our version of a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Pumpkin spice will still be here tomorrow, but there will be some new things to discover, too. 🍂

And this morning the bakery is full of fall: GF Chocolate Banana Nut Coffee Cake, GF Chai Muffins made with Preston County buckwheat, and GF/DF Apple Maple Muffins coming out of the oven soon.

Find us at the Farmers Market or here at the shop today. Some things change. Some things are worth coming back to. ❤️☕

We’re often asked why we started AntiquiTea House.

One of the reasons was pretty simple: we wanted to create a peaceful place where people could gather. A place to meet a friend, have a conversation, read a book, or spread out the laptops and study together.

And we love seeing our tables used exactly that way. ❤️

We’re open until 8 tonight, so there’s no need to rush home after class or work. Settle in for the evening and stay awhile.

And if studying turns into dinner, we’ve got you covered. Soup, salads, sandwiches, desserts, snacks, coffee and tea are available all day long. Even gluten-free!

Bring a friend. Bring your books. We’ll provide the table and the food. ☕📚

Fall is a pretty good time to be outside in Morgantown, especially when you bring friends. Even the four-legged kind. 🐾🍂

One of our regulars stopped by with her three curious and enthusiastic companions, and they made good use of our outdoor seating. With these beautiful fall days, grab a drink and a treat and enjoy the patio while you can.

Speaking of fall treats, this is the last week for our West Virginia Trees menu. The American Chestnut Café au Lait is topped with caramel and cinnamon and goes especially well with a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffin. We also have Blueberry Muffins right now, and both are gluten free.

And about what comes next...

We spent part of the weekend celebrating Matt’s birthday at the Buckwheat Festival, where we happened across an exhibit that offered a little hint about what’s coming to the drink menu October 1. 👀

Cold enough for a hot drink this morning, warm enough for iced this afternoon. That sounds like September in West Virginia. 🍂☕

Our Tulip Poplar Matcha works either way, and tonight is a great night to try even more of the menu. Flights are $2 off after 5:00!

Then at 6:30, it’s Wits & Wagers! Tonight’s questions are all about trees, just in time for fall and our West Virginia tree-inspired drink menu. 🌳 You play as a team, every answer is a number, and good guessing can be just as important as knowing the answer.

Come for dinner, share a flight with your team, and play from 6:30–7:30. We’re open until 8.

And we’re just getting the weekend started. Tomorrow is WVU game day against Oklahoma, and we’ll have our game-day specials ready for Mountaineer fans. We'll be open regular hours, 8-5.💙💛

Heading into town this weekend? Make sure you're at our kickoff Friday night at 6:30. Wits and Wagers is fun for all ages. It's trivia night that you don't have to know the answers to!

All answers are numbers and the closest one wins, but even if you're not the closest you can still win. Just guess who is actually closest and place your bets.

Free to play and the winning team gets a $20 gift card.

It’s trivia, but you don’t have to be a trivia expert. Every answer is a number. Your team makes its best guess, then you get to see everyone else’s answers and wager on which one you think is closest. That means a good guess can be just as valuable as actually knowing the answer!

Teams can be any size, it’s free to play, and the winning team gets a $20 AntiquiTea House gift card.

Flights will be $2 off after 5 PM on Friday.

You know someone really likes their workplace when they come back to hang out on their day off. 😊

Trey is one of our baristas, but he’s also a student, and AntiquiTea House has become one of his study spots. He’s even been telling classmates that we’re a great place to study and to find gluten-free food.

That’s part of why we’re keeping the lights on a little later this fall. Tuesdays and Fridays we’re open until 8, giving you a few extra hours for studying, meeting a friend, playing a game, or just lingering over a hot drink.

Tonight there’s no event and nothing you need to sign up for. Just come in, find a table, and make yourself at home.

It’s the last day of summer, and we have a fun week ahead! ☕🍂

Tuesday: We’re open until 8 with no special event planned. Bring a friend, grab one of our games, study, read, or simply settle in for the evening.

We’ll also be at the Summit Chamber Music Series at the West Virginia Botanic Garden Tuesday evening. Music begins at 7, and we’ll have coffee, tea and a myriad of cookies waiting at intermission. 🎶🍪

Friday: Bring some friends for Wits & Wagers from 6:30–7:30! It’s trivia where every answer is a number, and you play as a team, so guessing together is half the fun.

Even better, all flights are $2 off Friday evening, including coffee flights, tea flights and introduction flights like the Milk & Honey Flight pictured today.
