Centrally located on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, the Lodge is the perfect home base for couples looking to explore and relax. It is remote yet accessible as the lodge sits on the North shore of Summit Lake, right off the Seward Hwy. Summit offers 16 luxury cabins and 6 Historic Rooms as well as a full service restaurant and bar. A made to order breakfast is included with all overnight reservations.

A few photos from the last week since we’ve been closed. What a gift it is to serve you all during the summer! It is always a little bittersweet for us each time we close up. However, we are excited for some rest over the winter and we are very much looking forward to another great summer in 2027!

That’s a wrap for 2026!

We are officially closed for the season and will reopen again in the spring of 2027. Big thank you to our employees who make this place so special, our guests that have stayed with us and told their friends and family about us, and the travelers who stop for a coffee or ice cream on your way past. This is such a special place to us and we are so grateful to serve you all!

Bookings are open for 2027! You can book directly through our website for the best rate. We can’t wait to see you next year!

Feels pretty crazy typing that out. Today is our last day open for 2026! Most of our employees have headed back home, our last cabin guests check in tonight,and tomorrow begins the work of cleaning up and closing up the property.

We are so grateful for this season and everyone who came and stayed with us or stopped by. And we can’t wait to see you again next summer!

We’re sad this season is coming to an end but looking forward to some time to recharge before next summer!
