Happy October! 🍂☕ There’s a lot brewing at Black Diamond Coffee Roasters!

We’ve been extremely busy, and while our posts have been a little quieter, rest assured—we’re actively working on a new location and designing a few new “things.” We hope to share an exciting announcement in the coming weeks! 👀

What makes the Black Diamond experience special? We roast the coffee we serve. From selecting the beans and crafting our blends to dialing in our espresso and developing seasonal drinks, we put care into every step. Our coffee cart brings that experience to your event—and our bags of whole-bean coffee let you enjoy it at home, at work, or wherever your next adventure takes you.

As our journey continues, today we reflect on what happened two years ago. Hurricane Helene changed the mountains we love and the path of Black Diamond Coffee Roasters just weeks after we began. These photos remind us of what our community endured, how far we’ve come, and how much rebuilding is still ahead. We’re grateful for everyone who has helped us keep moving forward.

Two years ago, Hurricane Helene changed Western North Carolina forever.

Black Diamond Coffee Roasters was only weeks old. We had plans for where this journey would go, but as the devastation unfolded, those plans suddenly felt small beside what our neighbors were facing. Our opening was delayed, and the path we imagined changed.

These photos are a reminder of what was lost, what so many people endured, and how this community showed up for one another. Two years later, the recovery continues. We haven’t forgotten the people whose lives were changed that day.

Helene became part of our story, but this post is for the people of Western North Carolina. We’re grateful to be part of this community, and we’ll keep carrying its strength and kindness with us as Black Diamond grows. 🖤

🎉 Today, Black Diamond Coffee Roasters celebrates two years! 🎉

Two years ago, we officially became a business with a plan, a dream and a vision to build something special in the High Country. Little did we know that just a few weeks later, Hurricane Helene would devastate Western North Carolina and become a major setback in our journey.

The storm delayed our original plans and forced us to slow down, regroup and rethink our timeline—but it never took away the dream.

Much like the mountain roads of the High Country, our journey has been filled with twists, turns and switchbacks. The road hasn’t always been easy or gone exactly as planned, but every turn has helped shape the story of Black Diamond Coffee Roasters.

Today, we’re grateful for how far we’ve come and even more excited about where this road is taking us.

Our journey is just beginning. The best is yet to come.
