Congratulations to Ezra!! First deer drop-off of 2026! Beautiful 98lb doe with more to come. We are taking deer in and we won’t stop! Youth openers start dropping them off then we get into archery! Check in and cut sheets will be done online at owensbutcher.com or you can scan our QR code in shop! If you get deer this weekend call in at 317-494-3095 and I’ll meet you at shop to get you taken care of!

Deer season is almost here!

Youth season kicks off this weekend, and archery season isn’t far behind. Before you head to the woods, make sure your knives are ready to work.

Knife sharpening — $10 per knife, any knife. Big or small!

Whether you’re gutting a deer in the field or cutting meat at home, a sharp blade makes the job a whole lot easier.

Don’t let a dull knife be the toughest part of your hunt. Bring them by Owen’s Butcher Block and we’ll get you sharpened up!

24/7 deer drop-offs will be available the week of archery opener!

Deer season is here, and Owen’s Butcher Block is accepting deer! 🦌

Can’t make it during business hours? No problem! We offer convenient overnight and after-hours drop-off at the white cooler located on the west side of our building. (Limit of 12 deer dropped off outside of business hours, and will be emptied for the following evening)

Checking in your deer is easy:

• Scan the QR code located on the cooler
• Check in with us inside during regular business hours
• Or visit OwensButcher.com anytime

Drop it off, get checked in, and let us take care of the rest. Thank you for trusting us with your deer this season!

Schedule Update from Owen’s Butcher Block

We’ve been incredibly busy, so we’re going to close the retail side for the rest of this week and use the extra time to get caught back up.

Custom pickups will still be available as scheduled, so if you already have an order ready, you’re good to go!

We’ll reopen the retail shop next Tuesday and be ready to serve you again.

Beginning Monday, June 1st, Owen’s Butcher Block will be closed on Mondays until further notice.

This change will allow us additional time to focus on production, maintenance, and continuing to bring you the quality meats and products you’ve come to expect.
