It's Friday, FINALLY! It took a week to get here.

Today is October 9, 2026 and we have some great specials lined up. Friday and Saturday evening: Mexican Street Corn with Cheese Ravioli and queso fresco. Our Entrees are Mahi-Mahi and Steak au Poivre, for dessert Bread Pudding. Enjoy!

It's the eighth day of October, 2026 and tonight's specials are: Pollo Romano, a Tenderized Chicken Breast, dredged in Pecorino Romano Cheese and flour, baked & served over mashed potatoes & asparagus topped with artichoke & lemon butter sauce.
Pork Tenderloin Rollatini, a tenderized pork tenderloin stuffed with spinach, provolone cheese & served with mashed potatoes, topped with white w**e cream sauce over grilled asparagus.

Will have Dinner Party details in the next few days. For sure business casual, no shorts, flip flops or wife beaters.

It's hump day, Wednesday, October 6, 2026.

Last night I got to sample our Snackuterie. Check out the pic and try it the next time you are at Cozy Grape.(sorry for the illiteracy on my part, I must learn to re-read and edit the dribble I am publishing)

It is only available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday since Friday and Saturday are extremely busy and our kitchen is busy producing awesome food and it would slow down production.

It's Wednesday, October 6, 2026. It's au Poivre day.

Tonight's specials are Chicken au Poivre, a French inspired dish featuring a chicken breast, which is beaten excessively with a meat hammer, served with a rich cognac cream sauce that includes peppercorns, cooked in a sauté pan and served over spaghetti noodles, accompanied by roasted carrots, green beans and potatoes wedges.

Second special is Cozy Grape’s own Pork Tenderloin Vincent, a juicy pork tenderloin that is tenderized, dredged in flour and pecorino Romano, cooked in a saute pan and baked off in the oven over pasta and accompanied by roasted carrots, green beans and potatoes wedges.

Our dinner party idea is starting to get a lot of traction. We are doing it for sure, finalizing date, theme, menu, etc. What is everyone more comfortable with: Formal, more elaborate, multiple courses, formal attire (not tuxedo formal, just dress up), Casual, more relaxed and informal, comfort food, laid-back atmosphere. I'm thinking of incorporating a holiday theme. Need feedback, love getting comments.

Getting back to today, it's not au poivre yet, Tuesday, Oc tober 6, 2026. The month is young, once we hit November, it's all downhill.

Tonights specials are Pollo Romano: a Tenderized Chicken Breast, dredged in Pecorino Romano Cheese and flour, baked & served over mashed potatoes & asparagus topped with artichoke & Lemon Butter Sauce.

#2 Special tonight is Spaghetti a la Carbonara: Spaghetti pasta in a classic super rich cream sauce with bacon & fresh egg yolk, topped with shredded Parmesan Cheese.

It's Saturday morning, October 3, 2026. Great crowd last night, thanks to all for 15 years.

The specials for tonight: Bacon wrapped Mozzarella on Caprese Salad, Grouper or Pollo Rollatini and finally Peach Cobbler.

So, I'm thinking about the dinner party. How about a Holiday, Cozy Christmas Dinner party?

May have to form a small commitee. What do you think?

Good morning to all. It's Friday, October 2, 2026. I am still working on plans for a dinner party upstairs at Cozy Grape. Don't know the date yet but it will be like the old days. The host will provide a cocktails or ch*****ne upon arrival so everyone can greet and mingle, munching on hors d'oeuvres, w**e and entrees, select from a fish or beef offering, then a fabulash (yes, that's a word) dessert. I'm thinking of maybe a Madmen type attire.

OK, so it's Thursday and I have received (I almost said gotten, is that a word?) several positive responses regarding the soon to be announced dinner party. I promise to keep everyone in the loop. If it's a small intimate gathering, it will probably do it on a Tuesday evening or Sunday night. Please let me know what you prefer.

It's hump day! Officially the middle of the week hump day gives us pause, as we know, two more days to the weekend.

So, it's Wednesday, September 30, 2026 and the month is officially over, never to return again, in 2026. It's also au Poivre day.
