Fat Tuesday Crawfish Update:
The phones have been ringing off the hook the past few weeks with customers wanting to know “when are crawfish available?” The price has been ridiculously high early season and availability low due to the numerous cold weather snaps occurring.
We will start this Thursday with the spicy boiled from D.I.P. (Mudbugs) from Mobile. They will be $7.50 lb
Live crawfish will be available Friday & Saturday at $5.50 lb. Please call the market to place your order for live crawfish. We will only be bringing up what is ordered due to the high price. Taking orders Tuesday-Thursday for live crawfish.

We will be selling 5-6 oz lobster tails for $15 each on Friday & Saturday.
Crawfish update:
Hopefully will have spicy boiled available from D.I.P. (Mudbugs) NEXT week. They are still stupid expensive & hard to get. My live crawfish supplier from Appaloosa, LA hasn’t started bringing any up here yet due to price & availability. Hopefully it should be a good season once it stays warm.

This cold snap is bad for crawfish. We have had many calls….”when are the great cooked crawfish coming in?” We get ours for the past 15 years from D.I.P. Seafood (now called Mudbugs)
The crawfish are burying in the mud when it’s this cold and not going in the traps. It will be later this month or February.
J.J. at Mudbugs is selling the few he gets in down in Mobile for $9 lb.
Crazy high but it is early. Just wait and we will have those and the live crawfish available soon.
