Walden Coffee House In launching Walden Coffee House, I have taken my experience in the food industry and paired it with an exciting journey into the world of coffee.

Previously creating and operating a favorite local restaurant in Waco, the Brown House Cafe, I know how wonderful joining a community of people with a local eatery can be. I am striving to put together this same type of environment in the wonderful Walden community, except with coffee! I studied with the Texas Coffee School experts (or scientist I would say) and began working with the with a reall

y awesome local coffee roaster out of Houston, GEVA Coffee. I hate to brag, but our coffee is amazing! We pair it daily with house baked cinnamon rolls, muffins and more, plus have breakfast and lunch grab-n-go items on a first come, first serve basis! We have a great little space in the heart of Walden we hope that you will come check us out!

Well Walden friends, sadly Walden Coffee House has closed its doors. I know many of you will be very disappointed and saddened by this news, but please know I have fought the good fight and hung on as long as possible. The economy, cost of coffee and supplies, competition and location have all been contributing factors to our struggle.

I have met such wonderful people in Walden, lifelong friends, and will forever cherish memories with you all.

And although this has been a difficult decision, I have to say that I have been humbled as I have witnessed God’s faithfulness in this process. I am very thankful for your support and will especially miss seeing my regulars every day. I hope you find a wonderful new coffee shop and gathering spot close-by.
