Happy Thursday!

As the spring soup season comes to an end my goal is to create a menu that will make the most people happy ... and this week's soup is by far one of my most requested ones!! Thank you for another amazing year, I love cooking for all of you and feel blessed you let me into your homes every Tuesday evening.

On the menu for TUESDAY, MAY 19th is THAI CHICKEN RAMEN SOUP, MULTI-SEED BREAD, & CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES. My Thai Chicken Ramen Soup is filled with fresh veggies, tasty bites of chicken and slurp-worthy ramen noodles. It features a creamy and flavorful broth that has a little spicy kick, which makes it the perfect soup to enjoy on a spring evening with your family!

The soup begins by sautéing sliced mushrooms, red peppers, fresh ginger and garlic in olive oil. Once the veggies are softened, homemade chicken stock, coconut milk, soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, shredded chicken, a little red curry paste and sunflower butter are added. The sunflower butter adds the creaminess and nutty flavor that peanut butter would add, but allows those with nut-allergies to still enjoy the soup.

Once the soup comes to a boil, fresh lime juice, spinach, toasted sesame oil and cilantro finish off the soup. The ramen noodles will be delivered separately, you add them when you heat up your dinner. This prevents the ramen from soaking up all your tasty broth and becoming mushy.

My bread companion this week is my MULTI-SEED BREAD. This delicious bread is dark, slightly sweet and has a satisfying crunch from the multi-seed topping. Not only is it fantastic fresh from the oven, if you can save some for breakfast it makes the best toast!!

The dessert feature this week are CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES. The brown butter chocolate peanut butter cookie is soft, rich, and deeply indulgent. Happy Thursday!

We are quickly approaching the last two soups for the spring season. And before we part for summer, I am making one more meatball soup because I cannot resist one of my regular customers who always asks me for more MEATBALLS (you can stop harassing me, Chris)!!

The menu for TUESDAY, MAY 5th features MEXICAN MEATBALL SOUP, GREEN CHILE CHEESE BREAD, & BROWN BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. Mexican Meatball Soup, known as Albondigas Soup, is a traditional soup made with juicy, herb infused meatballs, loaded with veggies, and simmered in a bold, aromatic tomato broth.

The soup begins with assembling the meatballs, which are made with ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg and tons of spices. They are baked in the oven to intensify their flavor. Meanwhile, onions, diced carrots and zucchini are sauteed in olive oil in the pot. Next, homemade chicken stock, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and spices are added. Once the soup comes to a boil, the meatballs, black beans, and corn are dropped in. After the soup simmers, it's garnished with fresh cilantro.

The bread companion this week is my GREEN CHILE CHEESE BREAD. The bread features the delicious flavors of the Southwest ...smoky, slightly spicy roasted green chiles and creamy cheddar cheese. It's a perfect companion for this soup!

Happy Thursday!!

Spring weather is here and we need a menu to match! On the menu for TUESDAY, APRIL 28th is SPRING MINESTRONE, ITALIAN HERB & PEPPERONI BREAD, and BROWN BUTTER SNICKERDOODLES. Minestrone soup originated in Italy, and the name means "big soup" thanks to all the veggies thrown in. This version of the classic minestrone features springtime veggies, lemon zest and fresh herbs.

The soup begins with sautéing diced bacon in the pot ... a little bacon goes a long way in building the layers of flavors in this tasty soup! Next, diced onions, garlic and zucchini are dropped in.

Once softened, white beans and homemade chicken stock are added. After the soup comes to a boil, small pasta, peas, and spinach are mixed in. The soup is garnished with fresh herbs, lemon zest and parmesan cheese.

The two bread companions this week are my ITALIAN HERB & PEPPERONI BREAD. Both delicious breads are filled with garlic, butter and fresh herbs. And the pepperoni bread is finished with layers of tasty pepperoni. If your family loves pizza, they'll love this bread!!

The menu this week features BROWN BUTTER SNICKERDOODLES. These delicious cookies are rolled in cinnamon sugar, baked to a soft, chewy center with lightly crisp edges. Warm spice, subtle tang, and a rich, buttery finish in every bite. - Payton from Baked by Brown Butter

Happy Thursday!

"Marry Me Chicken" is a viral, creamy, sun-dried tomato and Parmesan garlic chicken dish that took off on TikTok a few years ago. Renowned for being easy to make and incredibly flavorful, its name stems from the idea that the dish is so good it will inspire a marriage proposal. And while this soup didn't lead to a marriage proposal for me, it did lead to a delicious new soup on the menu for all of you!!

On the menu for TUESDAY, APRIL 21st is MARRY ME CHICKEN GNOCCHI SOUP, ROASTED RED PEPPER BREAD, and M&M BROWN BUTTER COOKIES. This soup inspired by the viral trend features bold Italian-inspired flavors like sun-dried tomatoes, garlicky chicken, and pillowy gnocchi. It's creamy, flavorful, and might lead to a marriage proposal before dinner is over!!

The soup begins by sauteing aromatic vegetables like onion, carrots, and celery in a little bit of olive oil. Once softened, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning are added along with sun-dried tomatoes and tomato paste to deepen the flavor of the broth.

Homemade chicken stock, pillowy potato gnocchi, and a bit of heavy cream are added, creating a luscious, satisfying base. Fresh spinach and grated Parmigiano cheese melt into the soup for added richness and flavor. The soup is garnished with fresh basil.

The bread companion this week is my ROASTED RED PEPPER BREAD. This bread is beautifully braided and blends together the sweetness of roasted red peppers with a little spiciness from a healthy dose of black pepper. It tastes great with this soup and is also delicious as breakfast toasted with a fried egg on top the next morning!!

Happy Thursday!!

On the menu for TUESDAY, APRIL 14th is ITALIAN WEDDING SOUP, ROSEMARY FOCACCIA & LUCKY CHARMS COOKIES. My Italian Wedding soup is a rich chicken soup filled with lots of good things - fresh spinach, creamy pasta and plenty of delicious meatballs!

The soup begins with browning the meatballs in the oven to intensify their flavor. The meatballs are made with ground turkey, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, garlic, fresh parsley, milk, and egg.

Meanwhile, onions, carrots and celery are sautéed in the pot. Once the veggies are soft, homemade chicken stock, white wine and orzo pasta are dropped in. After the pasta is cooked, fresh spinach, dill and lemon zest are dropped in to finish off the soup.

The bread companion this week is my ROSEMARY FOCACCIA. It's crisp on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside. Extra-virgin olive oil gives the bread texture and flavor while fresh rosemary and flaked sea salt add the finishing touches to make this bread unbelievably delicious.

This week's dessert features LUCKY CHARMS COOKIES, brown butter cookies packed with Lucky Charms marshmallows and creamy white chocolate chips. Sweet, gooey, and perfectly soft with crisp edges. - Payton at Baked by Brown Butter

Hi everyone!!

With Passover beginning last night, it's only fair that I share the best part of the Passover meal with all of you. This is my most requested soup, so I'll try to leave orders open as long as I can .... but get your order in fast because this soup always sells out in record time!

On the menu for TUESDAY, APRIL 7th is CHICKEN SOUP WITH MATZO BALLS, CHALLAH, & CLASSIC BROWN BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. There's nothing like a comforting and tasty bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup with Matzo Balls, also known as "Jewish Penicillin."

The soup is a simple one....whole Amish chickens, quartered onions, celery sticks and more diced carrots than seems reasonable are dropped into a pot and covered with fresh water. Once the soup comes to a boil, it simmers for a few hours.

Afterwards, the chicken is taken out, shredded and dropped back in along with soft, pillowy matzo balls and thin egg noodles. While I put a fresh garnish on nearly everything I make, this soup I leave alone. It requires nothing. And for those keeping Kosher for Passover the matzo balls are pareve and I will happily leave out the noodles for you ... when ordering there is an special request option to create a Matzo Ball Only soup.

My bread companion this week is CHALLAH, a soft, eggy bread coated in everything bagel seasoning. Nothing goes together better than challah and chicken soup with matzo balls. With it being Passover, it's going to be a big test of my willpower to bake it for all of you and not eat any!

The menu this week features our CLASSIC BROWN BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. They are rich, nutty, and perfectly chewy, made with slow-browned butter and loaded with premium chocolate chips for that warm, indulgent, melt-in-your-mouth bite. - Payton from Baked by Brown Butter

Happy Thursday!!

This time of year we are all impatient for warmer temperatures, but the cooler temps allow me the opportunity to feature a heartier soup on the menu this week. And I know a lot of you would have been disappointed if this tasty soup didn't make an appearance!!

On the menu for TUESDAY, MARCH 31st is WEST AFRICAN PEANUT STEW, MULTI-SEED BREAD, & VANILLA BEAN FUNFETTI COOKIES. This West African-inspired stew of chicken, sweet potatoes and peanuts is rich, creamy and packed with flavor!

The secret ingredient here is chunky peanut butter, it adds great texture and the essential peanut taste to the stew. If the idea of peanut butter and tomatoes makes you question this soup, I urge you to get past your apprehension. My mother, who doesn't like peanut butter, was hesitant at first but once she tried it she absolutely loved it.

The stew begins with sautéing onion, garlic and fresh ginger in the pot. Next, diced chicken is added to brown. Once the chicken is cooked, homemade chicken stock, diced sweet potatoes and a little crushed red pepper are added.

Once the sweet potatoes are soft, diced tomatoes, fresh kale and chunky peanut butter are dropped in. The stew is garnished with fresh cilantro and chopped peanuts.

My bread companion this week is my MULTI-SEED BREAD. This delicious bread is dark, slightly sweet and has a satisfying crunch from the multi-seed topping. Not only is it fantastic fresh from the oven, if you can save some for breakfast it makes the best toast!!

Happy Thursday! I had a nice little break last week, it was so nice to get out spend some time in the beautiful outdoors and enjoy the warm sun :-) But now I am back, feeling refreshed and so happy to be back in my kitchen cooking for all of you.

On the menu for TUESDAY, MARCH 24th is CREAMY TORTELLINI SOUP, PANE BIANCO, & ANDES MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. Cheese filled tortellini are immersed in an extra creamy tomato broth alongside Italian sausage and kale, creating a hearty and comforting soup. Since spring evenings still remain cool, it's the perfect time to add this soup to the menu.

The soup begins with sauteing Italian sausage in the pot. Once browned, onion, garlic, paprika, fennel and additional spices are added. Once the onion has softened, tomato paste, tomato puree, and homemade chicken stock are incorporated and brought to a boil.

Next, cheese filled tortellini are dropped in and simmer until cooked. Half-n-half, kale, and fresh basil are added and cooked until warmed and it's garnished with fresh lemon juice and parmesan cheese.

The bread companion this week is PANE BIANCO. This delicious bread is filled with sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and fresh herbs. Not only is it a beautiful bread, it tastes fantastic served with this soup.

On the menu for desserts from Baked by Brown Butter are ANDES MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. These delicious cookies are rich and fudgy, loaded with chopped Andes mints that melt into the dough, giving every bite a cool minty swirl and smooth chocolate finish — a fun, festive pick for a St. Patrick’s Day treat. - Payton from Baked by Brown Butter

On the menu for TUESDAY, MARCH 10th is CHICKEN ARTICHOKE SOUP WITH WILD RICE, ROSEMARY FOCACCIA, & CLASSIC BROWN BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. This soup is light, healthy and brothy with a ton of vegetables, wild rice and artichoke hearts to enjoy.

The soup begins with sauteing onions, carrots, garlic, and celery in the pot with olive oil. Once softened, wild rice and chicken are added along with homemade chicken stock, artichoke hearts, and Italian spices and brought to a simmer.
