2 years into this business, we’ve read all the great reviews left for us (we love you) as well as the bad and we have to agree- we haven’t done a very good job of being a French Bakery.
So here’s what we have been doing ->
We cannot be something we are not. Nor do we want to try. So we’re going to starting doing things we can do well. That starts with quality. We are a small family business, which means we’re also consumers, just with very, very large bills 🥲 so we understand every dollar spent right now on food is important and should be worth it! The last few (not really few) months we’ve been working on quality, flavor, and what we can realistically provide to this community that will not be mediocre. It has been exhausting, it’s come at a lot of personal sacrifice, and the reality is this goal is not possible without the proper team, with a similar goal.
We’re slowly starting to see that progress and vision come to life.
Just a short reel to announce we’re working on so many aspects of this business and say with transparency we are trying to be better and find our place here in Monterey, so here’s to introducing our new croissant. She’s beautiful, and we love her.
