West Coast Chowder Competition FOOD AND WINE AND CHOWDER COMPETITON West Coast chowder is a professional Chowder Competition, for professional chefs and Restaurants.

Supported by the American Culinary federation,and Sponsors. The Chowder event is embedded in the Monterey Wine Festival. White wines will be sampled in this area, Other food products and samples are available as well as the sample chowders from all the famous chefs, purchasing the chowder by scoop will also be available. Other food products are for sale in this area. It is a blind tasting by the j

udges. Categories for judging are: Creative, Clam, Seafood, also judged on appearance, Flavor and texture and composition of ingredients. Over all creativity is added only to those who are in the creative category.
