Happy Birthday to our favorite powerhouse, Alison Strong. From lighting up stages to stealing scenes on screen, and somehow still finding time to be one of Samba’s biggest cheerleaders, you do it all with heart and style. We’re so grateful for your support over the years, for always repping gluten-free with pride, and for bringing your beautiful energy into our restaurant and our lives. Here’s to a year filled with more music, more roles, more birthdays worth singing about, and of course, plenty of Samba favorites along the way. We love you, Alison. Happy Birthday.

“From a small dream in Montclair to millions of homes across China, Samba Montclair was honored to be featured on Chinese national television during the World Cup.” “When I opened Samba, it was never about fame. It was about heart. Brazil gave me my roots, America gave me the opportunity, and now China has opened a window for millions to discover a piece of Brazil through our table. Food connects us, heals us, brings strangers together and reminds us that culture is meant to be shared. To my incredible team, to the production crew who believed in our story, to every guest who calls Samba home, thank you.” “This isn’t just our achievement. It’s a celebration of Brazilian culture, of the immigrant dream, and of sharing who we are with the world.” Obrigado Brazil, thank you America, thank you China, with endless gratitude,

Today was one of those days we’ll never forget. 🇧🇷🇨🇳⚽️🎥

For more than SIX hours, the cameras rolled inside Samba Montclair as we had the honor of welcoming the CGTN television crew for a special World Cup segment celebrating the spirit, flavors, and culture of Brazil.

What started 16 years ago as a dream to share authentic Brazilian cuisine with our community has grown into something far beyond what we could have imagined. From our little corner in Montclair, New Jersey, we have been blessed to tell our story through food, passion, and hospitality.

The crew captured everything—from the warmth of our dining room and the beauty of our dishes to the energy of our kitchen and the heart behind what we do every single day. They filmed our traditions, our conversations, and the flavors that connect people across cultures and continents.

As a proudly Brazilian restaurant and New Jersey’s only 100% dedicated gluten-free Brazilian restaurant certified by the Gluten Intolerance Group, it means so much to represent not only our heritage, but also our commitment to creating a place where everyone can gather around the table safely and joyfully.

Food has always been more than something we eat. It is memory. It is identity. It is family. It is celebration. It is the universal language that brings strangers together and turns them into friends.

To have the opportunity to share a little piece of Brazil with audiences around the world through one of the largest international television networks is truly humbling.

Thank you to the entire CGTN team for your professionalism, kindness, and for choosing Samba Montclair to be part of this incredible journey.

To our loyal guests who have supported us throughout the years—this moment belongs to you too. Thank you for believing in us, celebrating with us, and helping us continue this dream.

From Montclair to the world… Brazil is always at our table. ❤️🇧🇷

Stay tuned. The best is yet to come.

✨ What an incredible surprise at Samba Montclair today! ✨

We were honored to welcome Camila Mendes and Rudy Mancuso, two proud Brazilians who continue to inspire audiences around the world.

One of the highlights of their visit? Camila told us that Samba Montclair has the best pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) she has ever had! 🇧🇷🧀❤️

As Brazilians ourselves, there is no greater compliment than hearing that from guests who truly know and love the flavors of Brazil.

Thank you, Camila and Rudy, for spending part of your day with us. Beyond your talent, you were both incredibly warm, kind, and genuine people.

From our family to yours, muito obrigado! We can’t wait to welcome you back to Samba Montclair.
