So many things started during the pandemic: social distancing, sourdough starters, doom scrolling - and the seeds for a few special businesses. On Sunday, July 26th Damon Wise will be firing up the smoker that started it all in 2020 with wise meats and led to Pineapple Express Barbecue for a Backyard Barbecue with Sam stymest where samstablenj all began.

Make a reservation over samstablenj for the six course dinner from the kitchen and the smoker. Can’t wait to see you all again ✨

We miss you all soo much 😢Missing our BBQ and headed to Brooklyn on Saturday? Damon Wise will be Wayward Fare Alta Calidad with smoked half chickens, ribs, and burgers at outside at Vanderbilt Open Streets. Looking for our barbecue more locally? Stay tuned for pop ups or DM for catering/ pickup/ private gigs. We just might have a plan 🤫

Still recovering from last week 😢 we’ve got a thank you post coming once the tears run dry. In the meantime, by popular demand we have *VERY* limited number of items for pickup on Super Bowl Sunday (2/8). What’s on the site is all we have, pick up between 12pm and 4pm. We’ve got:

Bleary and teary eyed, it’s gonna take a few weeks to read all the amazing comments and messages from you all. Thank you.

We’ll be open for one last day of service on Saturday, January 31st starting at noon. We have merch and if you want to buy a poster or any of the other crazy s**t in this space, find a staff member and we’ll work it out. We will likely be selling a lot of this stuff down the line as well if you can’t make it in.
