Oktoberfest is the inspiration and with a nod to those of us with German heritage, Chef Taylor has created a German-inspired Features Menu that reminds us of the food we often ate growing up.

Our savory German-inspired features this month include:

Kasespaetzle (consider this a German-style Mac & Cheese)

Sausage Platter with sauerkraut, Bavarian-style potato salad, and a trio of mustards for dipping

Pork Schnitzel with Spaetzle, braised cabbage with creamy mustard grain sauce (or mushroom gravy, not pictured)

Sauerbraten (sweet and sour marinated roast beef) served with mashed potatoes, braised cabbage, and gingersnap gravy
