Todayโ€™s Bakehouse Drop is in the case at Come To The Table on the Bayou. ๐ŸคŽ

๐Ÿฅ Assorted Kolaches โ€” apple, peach, and blueberry. Nearly all are layered with cream cheese, with just a few fruit-only apple and peach kolaches available.

๐Ÿ“ Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies โ€” finished with a swirl of cheesecake frosting, raspberry preserves nestled in the center, and buttery graham streusel.

๐Ÿช Signature Chocolate Chip Cookies โ€” the familiar Honeyed Petal favorite, generously filled with chocolate.

A soft, buttery individual brioche finished with honey butter and flaky sea salt. This is our new โ€œall-dayโ€ pastryโ€”made for morning coffee, an afternoon pause, or to take home, warm, and enjoy later.

Our deeply rested house cookie, with golden edges, a soft center, and a generous blend of chocolate.

Todayโ€™s Bakehouse Drop is bringing something new to the case.

After a little testing (and a few notes for round two ๐Ÿ˜‰), new kolache flavors are ready for their Honeyed Petal debut.

๐Ÿ‘ Peach Vanilla Bean Cream Cheese Kolache โ€” soft, pillowy dough filled with vanilla bean cream cheese and peach, finished with cinnamon crumble.

โค๏ธ Raspberry Chocolate Kolache โ€” bright raspberry fruit filling finished with a buttery Dutch cocoa crumble.

And because youโ€™ve been keeping me busy with this one, Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies are back again, along with Salted Toffee Chocolate Chip.

Todayโ€™s Bakehouse Drop holds a little of everything I love about this turn toward Fallโ€”something familiar, something berry-filled, and something warm with maple and pecans.

One of todayโ€™s bakes also came with a little identity question.

Iโ€™ve hesitated to call it a kolache because my husband, Greg, comes from a deeply rooted Czech-American familyโ€”and he has very specific ideas about what a kolache is and is not. But when I finally asked for his verdict, his answer was simple: yes, this is absolutely a kolache. ๐Ÿ˜„

So, meet the Blueberry Cream Cheese Crumble Kolache: soft, pillowy yeasted dough layered with cream cheese and blueberry filling, then finished with a buttery crumble.

On Saturday, September 19, weโ€™ll gather around the table for a guided tasting of five chocolates paired with freshly brewed coffeeโ€”slowing down to notice aroma, texture, cacao percentage, flavor notes, and how each pairing changes what we taste.
