This photo says a lot about Gene’s.

Pat on the left has been a friend of the family for nearly 20 years and has had his fingerprints all over Gene’s. Our menu, branding, designs and so much of what you see around the shop came from him helping bring Gene’s to life visually.

And George on the right needs no introduction. Our store manager, our floor general, and a huge part of Gene’s for more than 25 years. Simply put, this move doesn’t happen without him.

After 49 years on Myrtle, packing up Gene’s, moving everything to Duarte and starting a new chapter took a lot of people behind the scenes.

These are two of them.
