Just scheduled another Hotplate drop for this coming Thursday, October 1! New item for the October 1 drop is Apple Cinnamon Scones with Brown Butter Glaze. This is something I've been wanting to try out now that apple season is in full swing.

Pickup will be downtown Monroe but I can also deliver to Trenton for downriver-area customers if they can't make it to Monroe.
Orders open today, close Wednesday night and pickup is Thursday 10/1.

Working on packing Hotplate orders this morning/afternoon--lots of milk bread and cheddar jalapeno sourdough this week, plus some cheddar garlic chive scones (chives are fresh from the garden). Planning on scheduling another drop for next Friday 10/2, hopefully will have it posted over the weekend.

Just heard last night that the Trenton Farmers Market is cancelled this week, so I'm updating the Hotplate pickup location this week to my regular pickup spot downtown Monroe. However, for customers in Trenton/the downriver area who already placed orders or still want to order, I can deliver orders or arrange for pickup downtown Trenton on Thursday (I'll contact each customer individually about this).

Since this week's market was going to be the last of the season, I won't be downtown Trenton anymore this year for the market, but I will still offer delivery and pickup options for customers in Trenton who'd like to order during the off-season.

Just posted a new drop on my Hotplate page for this coming Thursday, September 24. This week's menu is Milk Bread, focaccia (Cheddar Jalapeno, Dill Mozz, regular) sourdough (flavors same as focaccia), Struan (a seeded whole grain loaf), Cheddar Chive Scones and Pumpkin White Chocolate Scones.

Customers can pick up orders either at the Trenton Farmers market from 2 through 7pm (I will update later with a address as I heard the the market may be changing locations this week) OR I can deliver orders in/near Monroe for those who can't make it out to Trenton.

Established 2025, Monroe MI. International breads and pastries: Focaccia, Bagels, Baguettes, Japanese Milk Bread, Scones, Bagels and more.

I'm set up today at Trenton Farmers Market, I've got cheddar jalapeno loaves, baguettes, milk bread, cinnamon bread and pumpkin white chocolate scones.

I'll be here next week too for the last market of the season!

Hi there , just want to share that I'm trying out a sales platform called Hotplate, recommended to me by several bakers I've met over the past year.

For those who may not be familiar with Hotplate, it's basically an online storefront for food business to sell their products locally: the seller posts a menu, or "drop", along with a date and time that orders can be picked up or delivered.

To test the waters, I posted a drop for Tuesday September 1, which means orders are open now and can be picked up OR delivered on 9/1. The pickup location is set to a public parking lot downtown Monroe, MI, but if you place an order and would rather have it delivered, let me know and I will do my best to accommodate that.

The current drop menu includes sourdough loaves, Japanese Milk Bread, all my regular flavors of Focaccia (Cheddar Jalapeno, Dill Mozz., Italian Herb), Scottish Struan (a whole grain, seeded bread) as well as Blueberry Lemon Scones, Cherry Almond Scones and Cheddar Garlic Chive Scones.

This is something I've been looking into for a while now and am excited to try out--even if you're not interested in placing an order this time, I'd really appreciate it even if you just sign up to get notifications for future drops!

Hey there! During the past month I've been trying to get back into the swing of selling again at markets as well as posting here after taking a break during the first half of 2026. And as part of my ongoing efforts to build up a wider customer base, I've decided to try doing a bread giveaway!

Prize: A loaf of fresh-baked sourdough OR Japanese-style Milk Bread. Winners get to pick their flavor:
