Owning a small business is not for the faint of heart. We face challenges, unexpected shifts, and moments that can lead to outcomes we never anticipated (good or bad). But every day is a learning opportunity, and for us, every time we open our doors is a win. We’re still here. We still get to show up. And we still get to live out our passion of creating a space where everyone can slow down, connect, and enjoy the gift that is coffee.

I have the privilege of talking with so many other business owners, and if there’s one thing I continue to hear and believe, it’s this: community is everything. We need each other. We celebrate together, encourage each other, and remind one another why we started in the first place.

I also can’t talk about our business without acknowledging the people who are the backbone of it all—my team.

I AM SO PROUD OF MY CREW. ❤️

They are strong. They are kind. They love well. They show up for one another and for our community day after day, and they pour so much of themselves into what we’re building.

So today, I’m grateful. Grateful that we’re still here. Grateful for the people who continue to walk through our doors. Grateful for the community that surrounds us. And most of all, grateful for the incredible people who make this place what it is.
