Have you been to the spookiest, coolest coffee shop in Michigan? 🎃

If not, October might be the month to make the trip to Nocturnal! We have SO much happening all month long.

We’ll have Tuesday Markets, Nocturnal Treats, movie nights, Shadowed Sips with the Monroe County Museum, Dark Roast & Rhinestones, day-only specialty drinks, Bucket Day, Pumpkin Cup Day, new merch, live music, our Year 3 Birthday Bash, and a Halloween Party to finish it all off. Shadowed Sips alone will bring four different historic spooky stories to Nocturnal throughout October.

We’ll also be releasing our Year 3 shirt and Remember Who You Are, Weird Kid shirt, plus some other fun merch we can’t wait for you to see.

Come for the spooky atmosphere, stay for the house-made syrups, coffee, chai, c***r, moon milks, desserts and all the weird little things that make Nocturnal…Nocturnal. 🦇

Pop in this Thursday for a little Halloween fun 🎃

Around our family, “weird” has always been a compliment. It meant you weren’t afraid to be different. You were creative, artistic, maybe a little quirky. You liked the movies, music and things that everyone else didn’t quite understand—and you were perfectly happy standing out instead of fitting in.

That’s really the heart behind our Remember Who You Are, Weird Kid season. 🖤

So come celebrate all that wonderful weirdness with us this Thursday! Stop in and say hi to Grim, grab a fun Halloween drink, wander through all the spooky things around Nocturnal, and maybe head into our Marketplace to catch a Halloween movie while you enjoy your coffee.

Not feeling the movie? That’s okay too. The coffee shop will still be open, our Nocturnal playlist will be playing, and we’ll be serving all your favorites.

Come alone, bring your fellow weird kids, stay for a movie or just stay for a latte.

Remember who you are, weird kid

Our fall menu is a love letter to the movies that made the weird kids feel a little less weird—and there’s still time to work your way through it!

Need coffee? Try It Can’t Rain All the Time, You Have Bewitched Me, or our apple spice latte Do You Like Scary Movies? Make that one a Final Girl Latte and we’ll load it up with spiced whipped cream, a marshmallow fluff ghost face AND a donut.

Not a coffee drinker? We didn’t forget you. Midnight Margarita is our salted lime-orange tonic, A Bunch of Hocus Pocus brings all the apple goodness, We Are the Weirdos is caramel apple c***r, and Can I Keep You combines Ghost Energy, lemonade, cream soda, vanilla cold foam and marshmallow.

Or slow things down with Because You Asked Me To, our cozy cinnamon-pecan moon milk made with oat milk—add espresso if you want a little extra kick.

So…which movie raised you? The Crow, Practical Magic, Scream, Hocus Pocus, The Craft, Casper, Edward Scissorhands…or are you refusing to choose?

It’s Wednesday, September 30, which means this is officially our LAST DAY before our favorite month begins! 🎃

Tomorrow we turn the calendar to October, and if you’ve seen everything we have planned, you know we are about to have a VERY busy month at Nocturnal.

But before we get there, come spend the last day of September with us. Grab a fall latte, fresh chai, house-made c***r, moon milk, or finally try that drink from the Remember Who You Are, Weird Kid menu you’ve been eyeing.

We’re here 9 AM–3 PM today, pouring coffee and getting ready for all the spooky fun ahead.

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to Tiffany’s for providing lunch for our staff! 🖤

We’re already pretty big Tiffany’s fans around here—it’s one of our absolute favorites, and if you ask Salem, it’s pretty much the best dinner ever. 😂

Owning a small business makes you appreciate these kinds of gestures even more. Having another local business think of our crew and take care of them with a delicious lunch truly means so much to us.

Our staff works incredibly hard, especially heading into our busiest season and for them to think of us was such a treat.

Thank you, Tiffany’s, for your kindness, generosity, and for feeding us so well. We appreciate you more than you know! 🖤

Good morning, Nocturnal friends!

Can you believe we only have a couple days of September left?! That means the countdown to Halloween is almost officially ON…but it also means the countdown until our fall menu disappears is getting closer too. 🎃

If you haven’t made your fall trip to Nocturnal yet—or there are still drinks, treats, or spooky goodies you need to try—come see us soon! We have so much fall packed into Nocturnal, and we plan on enjoying every last spooky second of it.

We’re here today from 9 AM–3 PM, so come grab your morning coffee and hang out with us.

One little change for today: there is NO Tuesday Market. We’re using our Marketplace to price, organize, and get some of your NEW Nocturnal fall merch ready for its release next week! 👀 We have some really fun things coming.

Not everyone is nocturnal, so Tuesdays are for our early birds! Come see us 9 AM–3 PM and start your day with a latte, fresh chai, batch brew, or whatever your morning needs.

And October at Nocturnal is absolutely jam-packed with fun.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FUN TO DO THIS FALL? 🎃

Fall is basically one big excuse to get out and make some memories.

Hit the pumpkin patch, wander through an apple orchard, get lost in a corn maze, visit a fall festival, take a scenic drive to see the leaves, go antiquing, find a haunted attraction, visit a farmers market or just throw on your favorite hoodie and explore somewhere new.

And every good fall adventure needs the perfect ending…

Friday night at Nocturnal just feels different

The lights are low, the coffee is flowing, spooky season is taking over, and there’s nowhere we’d rather spend a fall Friday night.

Grab a latte, fresh chai, house-made c***r, moon milk, or something from our Remember Who You Are, Weird Kid menu. Bring a friend, a book, or just come hang out with us.

And before you leave, grab a To-Go Latte for later! Pick your favorite flavor—and if you don’t see the flavor you want, just ask us to make one. One To-Go Latte makes two coffees over ice, so future-you will be very happy you grabbed it.

We’re here until 10 PM tonight.
