Everyone! We are open!!!! Our hours will be from 11 to 2 and 5 to 8 until July!

We have a wonderful menu that we will be consistently updating, but we have all of your favorites and more!

Extremely loyal and patient Merkadito fans, we have big news for you!

We are ready to happily serve the Monmouth area starting Monday, June 20th! We will have limited hours (11-2) (5-8) until July, but please, come out and try out our new menu!

We look so forward to serving you again! We promise your time spent waiting will be worth it!

Thanks to the Monmouth Chamber of Commerce for putting on an amazing event with their Casino Night! It was wonderful to see so many fantastic members of the Monmouth community. Here, below, are Jordan and I. He is my business partner and promises to really bring great things to Merkadito! He does need to work on his thumbs up though! Thanks again to the chamber!!!

We hope everyone is getting hungry! We're still working hard on construction, but Merkadito will be opening soon!

In the meantime, we are working on making an already beautiful Monmouth landmark, the former Vaughn Jewelers, our home. We want to honor Monmouth, and this gracious community that has already given us so much love and support with pictures and pieces of historic Monmouth adoring our walls!

El Merkadito has a HUGE announcement to make…. Please help to spread the word!!

WE ARE RELOCATING!! That’s right!! We will be leaving our current location and moving a few doors down. We are PROUD be serving all of our valued customers from the former Vaughn Jeweler’s location on the corner of South Main Street and East 1st Ave.

You spoke up Monmouth… and we listened!! There are so many exciting changes coming. We are rebranding!! Instead of El Merkadito International Food Market we will be known as Merkadito Restaurant. We are so anxious to start to give you a sneak peek in the next few weeks. Our first sneak peek is our updated logo!!

Sometimes change isn’t easy, but this IS the exception to that rule!! THANK YOU all SO MUCH for your continued loyalty and support!!

Our current location closes on (March 1 2022) and we will reopen at our new location on (April 9 2022).

I’d like to give a HUGE shout out to the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Monmouth for all of your advice and support. I couldn’t have done this without you!
