Regardless of one's personal political opinion, affiliations or motives, I personally feel as if these types of encounters and interactions assist in restoring the morale of just being human, feeling loved and acceptance in a world that is often very cold and harsh.

Today was anything but ordinary for Kevin Sheehan, owner of Kevin’s Shredding Company in Mullins, SC.

📍 What started as a regular workday quickly turned into something unforgettable.

California Governor Gavin Newsom made a surprise visit to Kevin’s shop—and let’s just say, he left moved, inspired, and truly impressed. 💙

Kevin, who proudly leads a business rooted in inclusivity and creativity, gave the Governor a full tour and a heartfelt breakdown of his unique shredding process. His excitement? Absolutely contagious. You could see the pride in his eyes and hear the passion in every word.

But the day didn’t end there…

🌟 Governor Newsom returned that afternoon—not just to say thank you—but to personally gift Kevin a token of recognition. A small act, but one that carried immeasurable weight.

In a world that can sometimes feel cold and disconnected, these moments matter. This was more than a visit—it was validation. A reminder that dignity, acknowledgment, and inclusion are not just buzzwords—they are lifelines. 🙌
