As a small business, every pizza, sandwich, and meal costs us something.
Yet when someone tells us they’re struggling to feed their children, we don’t think twice-we help.
When we donate food, it’s never because we have extra to throw around. It comes from hard work, long hours, and a genuine desire to help people in need.
Learning that generosity may have been taken advantage of is disappointing, but it won’t stop us from being kind.
It will, however, make us more careful with where that kindness goes.
