✨ A Beautiful Wedding on the Alabama Gulf Coast ✨

We were honored to cater a beautiful wedding celebration at the Coastal Arts Center Weddings Saturday evening where great food, beautiful surroundings, and wonderful company came together for a truly special evening. 💍✨

Guests enjoyed an array of passed appetizers, including bacon-wrapped Conecuh sausage and shrimp shooters, followed by an incredible dinner featuring something for everyone:

🍤 Shrimp & Grits Bar
🥩 Carved Steamship Round, with rolls, horseradish sauce & Creole mustard
🍅 Fried Green Tomatoes with crawfish béchamel sauce
🥕 Roasted Vegetable Display
🥔 Mashed Potato Bar
🧀 Fresh Fruit & Cheese Display
🍗 Fried Chicken Tenders with honey mustard sauce

And to add an extra touch of sweetness, the hosts created a beautiful Italian wedding cookie table for guests to enjoy. 🍪❤️

🎉❤️ Wishing the Happiest 101st Birthday to our matriarch — our beloved Zenia Roussos!❤️🎉

This past weekend, we celebrated the 101st Birthday of a truly special woman whose life, love, strength, and dedication have helped shape the Roussos legacy for more than five decades.

In 1974, Zenia and her husband, George, opened Roussos Restaurant on the Causeway, beginning a journey that would become such an important part of their family’s story — and the history of our community. Alongside their children, John, Jimmy, and Georgia, they built a restaurant that became a beloved gathering place for so many.

Then, in 1979, Hurricane Frederic demolished the restaurant, changing the course of their lives and impacting not only their family, but the 80 employees who were part of the Roussos family. With determination and resilience, they started over and relocated downtown in the Fort Conde area in 1981.

Over the years, Roussos Restaurant eventually moved to the Eastern Shore, and the next chapter of the family business began when Georgia took over and transformed the business into Georgia Roussos Catering— continuing the tradition of exceptional food, hospitality, and bringing people together.

Through it all, Zenia has remained at the heart of the Roussos family.

She is deeply loved by all the family, cherished by generations of employees, appreciated by countless customers, and beloved throughout the community. Her warmth, kindness, strength, and genuine love for people are a part of the legacy she has created.
