Missoula Beverage Collective

For the numbers nerds out there! We raised $43,690, from 222 people, with the majority of pledges being in the $10, $25, $50, and $100 tiers.

Our $100 "Brewer's Blackbird" tier was the crowd favorite with 65 (about 29%) of the total pledges. This is especially fitting, since a pair of Brewer's Blackbirds have nested in the western white clematis on our riverfront patio for years now. 🥹

About 20% of the total pledges were for $250 or more, including some incredibly generous folks in the triple digits -- we see you, Great Blue Herons, Ospreys, and Meadowlarks!

This place is being built one generous gift at a time. Swipe through for the full breakdown. 🌲☕🍺

We closed our crowdfunding campaign at noon today, and we’re still a little in awe. THANK YOU! Thank you! Thank you!

$43,690 raised from 222 individual people. The majority of those pledges were $50 or $100 — it was this whole community showing up in small, generous ways. That means more to us than we know how to put into words.

Pledges came in from friends, family, and community members here in Missoula, across Montana, throughout the entire country, and even from a few Missoulians now living abroad!

Next up: plumbing, inspections, and getting this space ready for all of you. We’ll keep you posted every step of the way. Thank you for building this with us!☕🍻💚

FLOORS TRANSFORMED! 🎥

Watch our brewery production floor go from rough to ready in this timelapse! A huge thanks to Montana Concrete Polishing for the incredible work they did in June. Our new resinous floor system is waterproof, heat resistant, chemical resistant, and impact resistant... a state-of-the-art cement urethane coating built to industry standards. The transformation speaks for itself, and we couldn't be more grateful for their craftsmanship as we get closer to opening our doors.

We'll be sharing even more behind-the-scenes reels as our space keeps coming together. Stay tuned!

A BLOOPER REEL & A REQUEST FOR YOU!

Our crowdfunding campaign is at the HALFWAY point! With 30 days remaining, we're sitting at about $22k and hoping to hit our $40k stretch goal which would let us purchase a canning machine to package our b**rs (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic). Contribute here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/melissainmissoula/missoula-beverage-collective

We made our official fundraising video ourselves — just the four of us, a tripod, and a phone camera. Melissa drafted the script, we all edited it together with tips from Brock's radio host days, we took turns setting up the shots, Toby ran camera start/stop with his fancy watch, and Adam edited the final clips. Now we're here — bloopers and all. Thanks for laughing with us!

We've reached our first Stretch Goal of $20k — backers will choose our first b**r's name and style! 🍺 This is just stop #1 on the way to $100k, with more fun stuff unlocking along the way.

Our next Stretch Goal is $40k which will unlock the purchase of a ⭐canning machine⭐ that will enable us to open with cans on hand so you can take Missoula Beverage Collective cans of brew to go! (Scroll down to the Stretch Goals on our Indiegogo page to see the others.)

A huge, HUGE thank you to everyone who has already chipped in to be a part of this project so far! We couldn't be more grateful for the community support we've seen as we gear up for opening.

Back us, and share this with someone who'd love to be part of it. Every share helps!

In just the first three days of our crowdfunding campaign, you have already donated almost $13,000! We are so humbled and grateful to our community for the support they're giving, and we haven't even opened our doors yet! https://www.indiegogo.com/en/projects/melissainmissoula/missoula-beverage-collective

We've had a couple folks ask about the $20k goal listed on Indiegogo and our ultimate $100k goal.

Due to Indiegogo's "All or Nothing" rules (meaning you must reach the stated goal or you get nothing!) we decided to select a modest goal of $20k on the Indiegogo platform for safety's sake. We've got big plans if we're able to reach our $100k goal and we hope you'll join us and be a part of it.

It's HAPPENING! Our Indiegogo is LIVE. 😊

We've been dreaming about this place for a long time, and we're finally at the part where we get to ask you to be part of it in a tangible way! Missoula Beverage Collective is coming together at 1151 West Broadway. Renovations and buildout are already underway, and we've purchased all of our coffee and b**r equipment.

This crowdfunding campaign is the push that gets us across the finish line faster, upgrades our planned improvements, and provides some security for us during our fledgling stage.

If you've got a few bucks to spare, we'd gratefully accept the help in building this dream with us. (And even if you don't have the dollars to spare, just sharing the link means a lot to us too!) Either way — thank you for rooting for something local!
