Apple Crisp Shaken Espresso 🍎

House-made brown sugar syrup + espresso shaken on ice, topped with milk and apple cold foam (also made in-house ;)). Give it a shot, especially since now it’s OFFICIALLY fall!! 🍂

Next up on the Barista Highlight series is Ezra!

Ezra began as a barista at UPC this summer and has brightened all of our lives since. He is always ready for action as soon as he steps into the building. He is very skilled and has made an amazing addition to our team!

Ezra likes to spend his free time playing board games, spending time with his family, and going to the gym.🏋️

His favorite music artists are Daft Punk, My Chemical Romance, and Hozier.

His green flag in a customer is if they are Mission Barbell Club ❤️❤️❤️

And lastly, Ezra’s coffee drink of choice is an iced honey americano.

Thanks for all you do, Ezra! ☕️

Ella H! Say hello! 👋

Ella has been with UPC since 2018 (the beginning)! A true ride-or-die barista. She is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and always lights up the room!

She likes to spend her free time doing arts and crafts (such as knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, painting, etc.), hanging out with friends and family, exploring KC, and traveling. A gal of many hobbies 🎨💕

Ella’s favorite musical artist is Lana Del Rey and her favorite song at the moment is language by spirit blue.

Her green flag in a customer is when they are polite🩷

Ella’s drink of choice is an iced honey americano with cream in the morning, a strawberry iced matcha in the afternoon, and of course a crisp Diet Coke for any time of the day.

Send your love to her as we are incredibly grateful to have her as a part of our team 🫶 Thanks Ella!

All love though ☕️

Next up is Ella R! She is a Shift Lead here at UPC as well as the Social Media Manager (Hi! 😉👋). She also illustrates the chalkboards for the shop.

Ella likes to spend her free time doing anything creative— like ceramics, jewelry making, drawing, painting, and more — as well as exploring KC and spending time outside.

Her favorite musical artist will forever be Hozier, but has recently been loving Air and Thievery Corporation.

Ella’s green flag in a customer is when they take the time to chat and build connections.🪴

Her coffee drink of choice is (and you’ll never guess it…) an iced americano! But when she’s feeling fancy, she’ll make a ‘Swan Lake Latte’ aka an iced latte with lavender and hazelnut.

We’re excited 🙌
