On March 5, 2026, Ocean Club lost a member of our restaurant Family, Hai Pho.

“Back in the early eighties, I brought Hai to Destin to work for our restaurant, Beachside Cafe. That was one of the best moves I ever made! He continued to work for me at the Ocean Club until a few months ago. For over 40 years, Hai and his brother Junior worked as chefs running our kitchen. I’ve never experienced a work ethic like that; Hai and Junior became family to me. I had the privilege of being around the most talented and loyal individuals that I’ll ever know.

“To say Hai will be missed would be the ultimate understatement! “All my love and prayers to his family. God Bless Hai Pho.”
