✨ Sunday Local Business Shoutout ✨
Lexilou
"Lexi Lou began in 2019 after I worked hands-on with a local florist here in Minot. We realized there was a need for smaller weddings and events with floral budgets under $1,500, so I started creating faux wedding florals for couples wanting something beautiful, intentional, and affordable.
Before launching Lexi Lou, I spent two years working for A Bit of Heaven Weddings, where I completely fell in love with weddings, event styling, florals, and the magic that comes from celebrating love and connection.
After three years of designing with faux florals, I transitioned into fresh flowers and opened my retail space in 2022. Since then, Lexi Lou has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined, not just a flower shop, but a creative and joyful community space.
I’m fun, energetic, free-spirited, and definitely someone who wears their heart on their sleeve. I truly believe art makes people feel something. Flowers create connection between client and designer, customer and friend, strangers and community. Being able to create art for a living is something I never take for granted.
My floral style is whimsical, colorful, bright, loud, and full of feeling. I especially love intimate weddings, nonprofit events, and creating designs that feel personal and meaningful.
One of my favorite parts about owning Lexi Lou is the community we’ve built. The support from my customers and clients means everything to me. Our shop is also home to several small businesses, and being able to provide a welcoming space for makers, artists, and entrepreneurs is one of the things I’m most proud of.
When I’m not in the shop creating a beautiful mess, you can usually find me traveling, loving on my dogs, dreaming up new ideas, or finding ways to spread a little more joy through art and flowers.
At the end of the day, my mission is simple: to spread love, support creativity, empower people to chase what they’re passionate about, and hopefully make someone’s day a little brighter when they walk through our doors. 🤍"
Go show them some love and give them a follow! Thank you for what you do for Minot 💚
