Saying we had a rough start last Sunday is an understatement!
First, our car battery died at the commercial kitchen while we were picking up the food 🚗 We were so lucky that both a market friend and our employee stepped in to help us get everything to the market.
Then we missed a highway exit 🛣 and got caught in Twin Cities Marathon traffic and road closures 🏃♀ We finally arrived just in time to claim our spot. And, of course, that was the very morning a journalist from a famous French TV channel showed up to film us and ask questions while we were still setting up the stand and trying to get the first crêpes going! 🎥🎤
But what we'll remember most about that morning isn't the stress or the chaos. It's the incredible outpouring of support from our fellow vendors and the market manager. They offered helping hands, words of encouragement, much-needed coffee, and comfort food when we needed it most.
We were honestly overwhelmed by everyone's kindness. On a morning when everything seemed to be going wrong, you reminded us why being part of a community like this means so much.
And to our customers, especially those of you who come back week after week: thank you for being part of our journey and for making Linden Hills Farmers Market such a special market for us. Seeing your familiar faces means more than you know.
Thank you, Linden Hills, for showing up for us. We're so grateful to be part of this community. We love you! ❤️🟡
