This month, we're kicking off Groceries for Good, a month-long celebration of what makes co-ops different. Throughout October, look for blog posts exploring Co-op Month, Fair Trade Month, and the many ways your grocery purchases create a positive impact in our community and beyond. To mark the occasion, we've just launched limited-edition hats made by nonprofit Elpis Enterprises . Even better, the profits from every hat purchased will go to Joyce Uptown Foodshelf. Our October Change Matters partner is the Co-op Affordability Project (CAP), our in-house, needs-based ownership program offering discounted membership and daily discounts to our community members enrolled in WIC, SNAP, SSDI/SSI, Section 8 Housing, Refugee Cash Assistance, Medical Assistance (Medicaid), or Minnesota Care. This program helps income-qualified neighbors become co-op owners, and save 10% everyday. Round up for food access! Nordic Naturals will also donate $1 per product sold in October.

Voting and registration are now LIVE for our Board Election and Annual Meeting at the Minneapolis Institute of Art!

✔️VOTE: There are seven (7) candidates running for three (3) open seats. Each will serve a 3-year term. Your vote supports the future of our co-op! Learn more about each candidate and vote online, or by paper ballot in store.

✔️REGISTER: Join us on Wednesday, October 21 for a free evening of connection with fellow co-op owners, insights from our CEO and Board President, a panel reflection from local growers, announcement of election results, and heavy appetizers. Seats are limited, so be sure to register before we sell out!
