Bryce is the most veteran senior we will bid farewell to this year. He has been part of the Carbone’s team for the past three years and, during that time, has truly done a little bit of everything—from hosting and food running to expo and working our annual Music Fest each year.🎵 Most recently, he even had the opportunity to learn how to make pizzas on the line, which he shared was his favorite memory from his time here.
When I reflect on Bryce’s time with us, the thing that stands out most is the incredible amount of growth he has achieved.🌟 When I first met Bryce, he was a kind, shy, quiet, and timid high school student. I’ll be honest—I secretly wondered if he had it in him to work in such a customer-facing position. He quickly proved me wrong, and then some!
Over the past three years, Bryce has grown into a confident, well-spoken, outgoing, self-reliant, and poised young man who is ready to take on his next adventure. This fall, he will head off to Eureka College in Illinois, where he will study business and finance—and, of course, continue playing baseball.⚾️ Baseball is one of Bryce’s biggest passions. In fact, one of his high school highlights was being part of a team that went undefeated in the city for the first time in 90 years. Go Teddies! 🧸
Bryce, what an honor it has been to work alongside you for the past three years. You are truly an amazing young adult, and I have no doubt that you will head out into this world and do great things. Continue to carry the kindness, confidence, and work ethic you’ve shown us at Carbone’s wherever life takes you.
And don’t forget to keep playing cribbage while you’re away at college! It’s one of those long-lost games that not enough young people know how to play anymore, you will definitely be missed in Cribbage League this year.
Congratulations, Bryce, and best of luck at Eureka! We’ll miss you!
