Hey coco cafe fam 💛 This is bittersweet news that we’re sharing today but here we go…
We are closing our cafe at the end of March. We’ve been thinking about this move for quite some time now and the stars finally aligned for us to exit this part of our business.
We’re sad, relieved, grateful, humbled, and appreciative all at the same time.
When the opportunity to open the cafe landed on our laps about 3 years ago, we said heck yes. Even when we had everything stacked against us. We didn’t have a big budget or previous experience operating a cafe. We personally renovated it with our own savings and learned everything from scratch. There was also COVID-19, the civil unrest, anti-asian hate crimes happening and of course a global boba shortage. There was a lot going on but we happily did everything with gratitude because this cafe gave us a lot of hope during a dark time. It was our labor of love for the community.
Our intention has always been to create a welcoming, warm and joyful place for anyone and everyone. A place where we could gather around our shared love of boba and good eats. And I’m really proud to say that we have done just that. Thanks to you and our amazing team. This has been the greatest adventure of our lives and it’s transformed us in the most incredible ways. We’ve seen the best of people in our little cafe and created some of the best memories together.
This has been a dream come true and we want to say from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. Thank you to each and everyone of you who made this place so so special. 🙏🏼
Please stop in all of March! We will be having a Farewell Party on March 23rd from 12-3 pm. It will also be our last day of operation. Hope you can join us for that. Thank you!
