Baganuur Hockey Club’s partnership journey in Minnesota has been incredible so far.

The kids are practicing at the legendary TRIA Rink — the same facility where both the Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Frost train. For these young athletes from Baganuur, it honestly feels like stepping into the life of professional athletes. Some days they even have two coaches on the ice, learning new systems, drills, and training methods every day.

Huge appreciation to Minnesota Hockey and DinoMights for believing in these kids and giving them an unforgettable experience both on and off the ice.

And truthfully, this journey didn’t suddenly begin because I became Honorary Consul. We were building these bridges long before titles — simply because we believed sports, friendship, and opportunity could connect worlds.

Outside the rink, the kids are experiencing Minnesota and America to the fullest — exploring the Mall of America, visiting Minnehaha Falls, trying new foods, riding roller coasters, swimming, fishing, bonfires, lake life, team dinners, and creating memories they’ll carry forever.

But one of the most special parts of this journey is that the kids are also giving back.

As part of showing appreciation, the Baganuur players have been helping DinoMights with their “Learn to Skate” program — assisting and encouraging nearly 250 young kids every day on the ice.

That’s something Billy always believes in:
“Give it back.”

No matter where you come from or how far you go, you always give back to the next generation.

And seeing these Mongolian kids helping younger skaters in Minnesota honestly feels pretty special.
