Well it’s that time of year again Junior Golfers!! The Annual Robert “Bud” Flora Cup will begin on Tuesday, June 16th @ 8:00am. This has turned out to be a wonderful experience for our youth golfers, and we are dedicated to growing our junior players at Dodge Point Country Club for many years to come. Please call Cory at 608-574-5168 to sign up for the 2026 season, and we look forward to seeing all the kids soon.

This message comes to you all with bittersweet emotions as mom and myself would like to inform everyone that we will be moving on from the Club as of yesterday. We would like to congratulate the new owner Alex Schulte, and wish him nothing but success with his future endeavor! To the members, 10 pass holders, and everyone that has just stopped by to have a drink, we cannot thank you enough for your patronage over these last 14 years. You have all become apart of our family, and we are indebted to you more then you know. To our employees, there are no words to describe what you have done and meant to our families, and you will ALWAYS be close to our hearts for the rest of our lives. To mom, Terry, Alicia, and my boys, how you have put up with me I will never know, but do know that I love you all very much. Like I keep saying, none of us are dying, we are just coming to the other side of the bar. We love each and everyone you, and we are looking forward to sitting back and watching Dodge Point Country Club strive to be one of the best kept secrets in Wisconsin! Just like the Masters, spring is officially here, and the course will be open this Monday, March 30th at 10:00am. We look forward to seeing everyone, and embrace the new era!

Once again Dodge Point Country Club would like to thank all of the members, 10 pass holders, and all other patrons for the exceptional 2025 season, but after today we will be pulling the pins to finish up our yearly maintenance that the course so desperately needs. Without your continued support none of these improvements would be possible, and we can’t thank you enough for that. We again finished with over 30,000 rounds and were able to fit in 27 outings in the midst of all them. The grounds crew once again did an amazing job keeping up with various weather related issues, and we can’t thank them enough for the amount of time and energy they put into the course! The final day of golf is always bitter sweet for us, but this season will definitely go down as an unforgettable one. Lastly, we would like to thank our employees again for another great season. From the bartenders, to the bev cart girls, and of course our maintenance staff, we would not be the Country Club that we are today without you, and for that we can’t say thank you enough!! Love to everyone, and we hope you all have a great holiday season.

The clubhouse will be closing @ 2:00pm today, Saturday, October 25th for an employee appreciation day! We are so thankful for each and every one of our employees, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them! You can still call the club @ 608-987-2500 to book tee times for the upcoming week. Well, as we are two weeks removed from the final day of the Robert “Bud” Flora Cup, we just wanted to post the final results and take this time to say thank you to all the participants, parents, volunteers, grounds crew, and a special thanks to Gevy, for all your hard work and dedication to our junior program. None of this would be possible without your support throughout the season. We ended with 71 players and 3 players were crowned in each age group with plaques, and free memberships for the 2026 season to Kruz Burke and Calum Brunson. Congratulations to all golfers, and once again Dodge Point Country Club’s future is in great hands because of YOU!! Lastly, we would like to thank the Flora family for allowing us to dedicate this program in Bud’s name. We couldn’t think of better way to honor his legacy at Dodge Point Country Club.

Just reminder that tomorrow will be the final day of the Robert “Bud” Flora Cup for the 2025 season. We will be monitoring the weather like we have all season and will make a decision no later then 7:00am if there will be a cancellation. We can not thank the parents, the players, the grounds crew, and of course our volunteers enough for their dedication to the program! So much talent in this area, and we can not wait to see what the futures holds for these young athletes. Thanks again from everyone at Dodge Point Country Club!

Evening Bud Flora golfers and parents, just a reminder that we are scheduled for our regular day of lessons tomorrow, Tuesday July 8th @ 8:00am. Once again, there is a chance for weather tomorrow, so we will be posting on Facebook before 7:00am if there will be a cancellation. If there is no post in the morning, the lessons will go on as planned. Thank you

Looking for a laid back competitive round of golf, Dodge Point Men’s Invitational still has some open spots! The tournament will consist of an 11:00am Shotgun start next Thursday, July 10th. Morning Junior golfers and parents, unfortunately we will be canceling the Bud Flora lessons this morning to allow for the water to drain from last night’s storm. We also will not be letting carts out until noon for all other players pending on what the rain does this morning. Wondering if I could get some opinions on doing the make up day next Tuesday, July 1st? We were trying to keep it away from the 4th of July weekend, but would still like to get all 6 sessions in. Please let us know if this date works for the majority. Thank you
