Today’s memorial for John was truly something special. We want to sincerely thank everyone who came by to celebrate his life, share stories, laughter, memories, and love. Seeing so many friends, family members, and loyal customers together reminded us just how many lives John touched over the years.

To those who could not make it for personal reasons, please know you were absolutely in our thoughts as well. We know how much John meant to so many people, near and far.

A very special thank you goes out to Spaghettini and Smok-Haus for their incredible generosity and the amazing food they donated for today’s gathering. Your kindness and support meant more than words can express.

John will always hold a special place in our hearts, and today was a beautiful reminder that his memory will continue to live on through all of us.

With heavy hearts, we invite John’s closest friends and loved ones to join us in celebrating his life and the countless memories he gave to so many.

A memorial gathering for John Search will be held this Sunday, May 17th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Recovery Room Bar & Grill.

This will be a time to come together, share stories, laugh, remember, and honor the incredible person John was. His humor, friendship, and unforgettable personality touched so many lives, and he will be deeply missed.

Guests are absolutely not expected to bring anything. However, if you would like to bring a photograph, keepsake, or small personal item that reminds you of John, we think that would be a beautiful way to celebrate his memory and the impact he had on all of us.

Food will be generously provided by The Recovery Room and Spaghettini, and this memorial is being sponsored by The Recovery Room and John’s family.

We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate John’s life, friendship, and the memories that will stay with us forever.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend John yesterday at 1:45 p.m.

To so many of us, he was far more than part of the Recovery Room family. He was a friend, a familiar face, a source of laughter, and someone whose presence could brighten even the hardest days. His silly jokes, his unique personality, and the way he connected with people made him truly one of a kind. He touched countless lives — customers, friends, family, and everyone lucky enough to know him.

The outpouring of love, messages, prayers, and support over these past days has meant more than words can express. It is a true reflection of how deeply he was loved and how many people he impacted throughout his life.

He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

As we learn more about arrangements and the wishes of his family, we will continue to keep everyone updated. We also plan to hold a memorial gathering at the bar to celebrate his life and the memories we all shared with him. We simply ask for a little patience as we work through the details during this difficult time.

Please keep his family, loved ones, and all those grieving in your thoughts and prayers.

🚨 HELP WANTED – COOK / KITCHEN ASSISTANCE🚨

We want to sincerely thank everyone for the incredible outpouring of responses and support regarding our recent help wanted post. We are happy to say that we have officially filled our cleaning position.

At this time, we are still looking for someone to assist with cooking on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 6 PM to 1 AM.

The Recovery Room Bar & Grill is currently looking for help as we support one of our own during a difficult time.

We are hiring for one (or possibly two) positions to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and in the kitchen.

Schedule:
• Morning cleaning shifts: Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays (approx. 7 AM – 10 AM)
• Cooking shifts:
– Wednesdays: 12 PM – 8 PM
– Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays: 6 PM – 1 AM
