Just an update Peggy is doing as well as can be expected but looks like we’ll be closed at least 3 more weeks hopefully!

Ok,here is our situation. Peggy had a fall on Sunday afternoon and broke her right arm just below her shoulder and bruised her knees . She will be in a sling for at least 3 weeks maybe 4 . We will be closed until further notice. Will give updates in two weeks . Thanks for your patience.

People have asked why we call our hot link wrapped in a half bun a “Joe dog” well it is named after a very good friend of ours “Joe McMurtry who has since passed on. He would stop by and order 4 or 5 hot links and just say wrap a bun around it and wrap it up. He said he would lay them on his dashboard while he was running a hotshot to Dallas and when he got hungry he would just grab one . We ask him if it was ok to put Joe dogs on our menu and he said sure! Only thing that was named after him was a dog. lol
And the Joe Dog was born! Sure miss you good friend .
