Milwaukee - translated from the native Potawatomi language - means "gathering place by the waters." Inspired by this magical land, Gathering Place Brewing Company is part of a long and storied tradition of brewers who shaped their city as they honed their craft. Our mission is to create vibrant and unique beers that reflect the vibrant and unique community we call home.

If you've been ordering the same b**r every time you come in...

We have a challenge for you.

Next time you're at Gathering Place, order something you've never tried.

Ask your bartender for a recommendation.

Try a flight.

Or just point at something on the tap list and say, "What's that?"

You might find your new favorite.

And if you don't?

There's always another b**r. 🍻

One fun part of being a community-focused brewery is being invited to make b**r for community events!

We've worked with Wisconsin Latvian Cultural Foundation / Viskonsinas latviesu kulturas fonds since 2023 to brew a special Latvian Farmer's Ale for their annual Folk-toberfest celebration (taking place this Saturday!).

This year we added a second Latvian brew: Kvass! This low-alcohol (

B**R NERD QUESTION:

What makes a Belgian tripel a tripel?

It's not simply "a strong Belgian b**r."

The style is known for being pale, relatively dry and deceptively drinkable despite a higher alcohol content.

Which brings us to a certain b**r we're going to be talking about a LOT soon...

Join and Yen (aka ) for an evening learning Procreate together THIS THURSDAY at our Taproom!

In this workshop is a basic introduction to Procreate and will walk you through how to draw objects with layers and texture.

The workshop will end with a prompt that combines the two lessons, either for you to finish at the brewery or take home with you to further your learning.

Most artists have taught themselves how to use Procreate, so rather than a comprehensive guide on how to use the app, these workshops are meant to be case studies where we learn from one another’s tips and tricks.

Bring a friend and have a fun night drawing! The first b**r is on us!

A b**r.

A snack.

A conversation that lasts longer than expected.

Maybe another b**r.
