IIIIIT’S A BEAUTIFUL MORNING AND OOHWEE ARE WE THRILLED TO BE HERE WITH YOU, MILWAUKEE! ☀️🍃

Photos of some recent food runs and our most recent grocery store pop-up :). First of all, if you have a building and you would like to fill it with a pop-up grocery store some time, please let us know! We focus on street and home deliveries, but the need is high and we would be happy to do that whenever we can! For free of course. 🍎🛒🥖

Next, a moment for those burritos. Wow, we did not photograph the finished product for hot food reasons but they were in the top five things we have ever made. 🌯

Next, we are looking for volunteers for our food booth at on May 30th! Shifts starting at 10am and going until 6pm. We are serving fruit, so you’d have to put fruit in cups and smile at the community. Hit us up if that sounds fun! 🤜🤛

Last and certainly not least, WE HAVE CONFIRMED OUR BLOCK PARTY! We will be joining forces with once more on Sunday, June 28th from 12-5pm. Please do mark the date. This fundraiser is entirely for the block party! We have quite a lineup for you this year, and we are thrilled. 🎉🎶🍔

HAPPY MILWAUKEE DAY! 💙💛🌊☀️ Today is the five year anniversary of our first ever sauce run 🙂. Since then, with so much help from all of you, we come to you today bearing hecka good news!

Firstly, our presentation has gotten better, wouldn’t you say? Wouldn’t you eat that for free? You can! What a life! 🍝🌯🥙🍓

On the first sauce run, we didn’t have a trailer. Now we have five, all donated! All of our bike supplies were donated! All of the to-go containers were donated! And for the first time ever, ALL OF THE FOOD IS DONATED! 🙌🍎🫂 (when food is donated, you can often miss essential items like oils, spices, etc). Big thanks to forever.

We are now at a point where we have enough support to gather enough food, WHICH IS PERFECTLY GOOD AND FAR BEFORE EXPIRING, to throw free grocery parties! The next one is on Friday, April 24th at . Be there or be 🟧.

Last and most of all, our homie Chris gave us a free and functioning kitchen. For free. SAUCE HAS A KITCHEN! AHHH! We just need to deep clean and spruce it up. Then we can finally host all of the lovely volunteers who want to help! Thank you Chris, woah. 💕

Sauce runs on my bicycle and in my kitchen, only possible with your assistance. With help and hopes and a clear vision, it’s all coming to fruition.

The real dream is that everybody eats good food and that Sauce Milwaukee does not need to exist. If there’s high quality food going in the garbage daily, billions of pounds of it, why would a city go hungry? Wouldn’t it seem that this food scarcity is intentional? Wouldn’t lack of access to healthy food, or any food, seem ridiculous and schemed when it’s actually totally available? WOULDN’T IT BE WEIRD IF THERE WAS PLENTY OF FOOD IN THE USA AND CERTAIN PEOPLE WERE STARVED ON PURPOSE?! That’d be crazy right?!

ARE YOOOOU READY TO PARTY?! 🎉🎈🛒 Come get down at the Grocery Get Down! An all-ages dance party where we eat snacks, receive food to prepare more snacks, and then learn about and receive the love of our neighbors! 🥙🫂🌇

Happening at the ever-inspiring and hosted by the ever-impressive , with music by and ! Food donations by , but truly actually by Brooke and Katie of Whole Foods in Milwaukee! 🎤🎶

All other donations by YOU, OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY! Please do read through this list of needs, and donate goods to share if or when you can! Our target audience is ANYONE IN MILWAUKEE WHO NEEDS IT, with families who have school-age children having a special place in our hearts. 💚

For food runs, we took no pictures. WE KNOOOOW, WE KNOW! There was some amazing chili, then we made a great stir-fry, then this very weird sweet potato pasta dish that everybody loved!

We don’t mind if you see what we made. We don’t mind if Sauce never has a building. We only mind that as many of us try to help each other as often as we can. Nobody needs to prove it on the internet. Whoever your kindness touches knows, and that’s all that needed to happen. Remember that people are in serious need in a land of abundance ON PURPOSE. THIS IS A SYSTEMIC PLAN. We see so many of you out here caring, and we are thrilled that you care. However you find a way to show that you know that we are one community with everyone just being who they happen to be - the world is better for it. Hey everyone happy snow time! ❄️☃️🌨️💙 YOU STAYING TOASTY OUT THERE?! We hope so!

Here are some photos of recent food runs! Featuring pastas, soups, quesadillas by Annie, baklava, mac & cheese, salads, and so many fresh juices! We were prepping and juicing for about seven hours and forgot to photograph any of that, but it was delicious! Big thanks for December food runs goes out to and all of you friends who have been delivering to-go containers to our door! We couldn’t do this without you! 🫡🌯🥗✨

Other big thanks go to the incredible amount of people who have been donating through our website! We don’t recognize these names, but if you are reading this - know that we appreciate you so greatly. Thank you for helping us to prepare and move food around. We are so grateful! THE WINTER MEAL DELIVERY SIGN UP LINK IS NOW LIVE! It’s in our bio, as well as on our website! PLEASE READ the bottom paragraph, as it explains our intentions for delivery. We have targeted areas throughout the city and we focus on areas of food and nutrition scarcity (food deserts). As a reminder, many people have exactly zero food items in their home on any given day. Last year, many people who wanted to try our cooking signed up (we are flattered), but remember that is not the intention of this program. We won’t ask you to prove anything, ever, as everyone needs food - BUT IF YOU’RE LOOKING TO TRY OUR VEGAN MEALS...

Save the date for January 31st, 2026! We hope to gather as many people as possible to share a meal, groceries, dance, hugs, and healing modalities. We will be asking for your help with this soon. ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY TO BE ALIVE WITH YOU, dear neighbors and friends! 🌤️🪾🍂 How are you doing? Hopefully you’re staying warm and full and happy.

There’s a lot of worry in the air, hey? We are hoping you can remember that that’s the air, and not you. Maybe we could all slow our breath enough to feel the air that fills us, and to watch our awesome bodies transmute that air into energy, thinking, feeling, processing, producing, recuperating, and enjoying. Hoping that you can remind yourself of your power, and if you forget, please take a look at your phenomenal vessel! You, who is inside the vessel, are reading this right now! You are so smart and capable. The peace is inside you too, so we support your trip inward, and we are here with snacks when you come back out. 🌬️

ANY WAY here are some pictures of a bunch of recent sauce runs, events, donations, and a radical young man who had not cut fruit before! He came up and asked if we needed help, served people with us, and then we practiced cutting all types of fruits together. We are unsure who he is, but we want to emphasize that he helped us immensely that day, and that he can now professionally cut your kiwis. 🥝🍇🍉

Big thanks as always to for the plentiful donations and their incredibly hard work. Thank you to for the chicken of the woods mushrooms that she harvested mid-hike to help us make 50 fajita meals. Thank you to for bringing the people together in wellness and for inviting us to provide plants and slow moments. Thank you to for the amazing bakery! Thank you to all of the strangers who have been dropping off to-go containers, and to everyone who supports us in any way, ever. 🍆🥦🌶️

HELLO SWEET FRIENDS! How’s that crispy new fall air treating you? Happy to cool down? Excited for perfect bicycle/walk/play outside weather? We are too! ☀️🍂🍃

And here we are, phew! We made it to the food! The very reason that Sauce Milwaukee exists. The most fun part about being alive together (in our opinion)! Sharing good food and joyful times. Here are some photos of the amazing people who made our entire event possible. 🫧🎪🫂

Firstly, our biggest and most sincere thank you to of . Our day one supporter and most active member, we could not have done this without you. Thank you for your caring heart, working hands, and all of the ways you help us to bring food to people! 🍉🤜🤛🥕

Next, a huge thank you to Cam’Ron. Our board president who cooks with us all year long (for three years now), and who holds it down especially at events. He grilled all day in the hot sun, and he cooks with us for so many events all year. He cares so deeply about his community, and we could not do this project without him. 👨🏿‍🍳🔪🍔

Then a huge thank you to who was our head chef this year! He hustled so hard and everything you ate was because of his effort! A very fancy chef and another long time supporter, thank you for making this happen! 🥗🍽️🌭

Then THE VOLUNTEERS! All the others also volunteered, but these people took on long shifts of feeding friends and smiling about it. Thank you for your time and care and help:

And also Beau, Benji, Bubble Guy, and whoever the sweet man is in the photo with a very heavy trash bin of watermelon rinds - who carried that about 1/4 mile with us in very good spirits. What a guy! ✨
