Today was a lesson that sometimes things just don’t work out. Yesterday I created beautiful ANADAMA LOAVES that I shared with friends, neighbors, and family. Today I tried to make them for you.
Technical difficulties in the kitchen resulted in imperfect loaves that really bummed me out. Although I know where I went wrong, it was hard to see my failure in eight blown out loaves. 😔 My first thought was “ what am I going to do with all these loaves?” and then I cut one up, shared with my husband and our contractors who agreed it tastes just as good as always. (Pictured below is what is currently being devoured.) They encouraged me to sell them anyways.
So….home-baked ANADAMA LOAVES are now at the Branch Hill Farm Shoppe at a discounted rate of $5 instead of $8. They may not be pretty but they slice up fairly well and taste amazing. I guess it is true, sometimes perfection lies in the imperfection of things.
