What a WEEKEND we’ve had!!

What a DAY we had yesterday.

I don’t believe I can accurately express just how thankful we are.

We hustled like nobody’s business yesterday.

Our entire staff was on their A-game.
Short staffed and all.

It’s crazy work because historically this is when our business starts to slow down a little as we head into the start of fall, school beginning and football coming back on…

But I don’t believe the universe got the memo… cause GOOD LORD.

Sales have been outrageous.
Wait times have been long.
Restaurant has been packed.

If I’m not mistaken the restaurant was at full capacity for almost 3 hours yesterday….

WHICH
IS
ABSOLUTELY
INSANE

Of course almost everyone was so kind, so understanding but there is always one that is unkind and hangry …. I guess.

When we are that full there is NOTHING me or our staff can do about how long you wait.
Nothing.

It’s unfortunate and as much as I wish I could tell people to get up who have over stayed their welcome I can’t do that.

With that being said I absolutely do set a time limit for any parties of 25 or more, but anything less I cannot really control how long they stay.

I’ll just say this, it takes zero effort to be kind.
To be understanding.
To be patient.

You can clearly see there are NO available tables for your large party.

A beautiful example of this is when I ran outside to our screened in porch to grab a party of 15 after I scrambled to figure out how to get their tables…

I said “I’m so sorry about your wait”
Lady responded “Oh honey you have nothing to be sorry about we are just happy to be in the air conditioning”

What an example of true patience and understanding… and the kicker, they waited outside, sweating in 90 degree weather.

I cannot genuinely express how thankful we are to all of our faithful regulars and our NEW PEOPLE.

It amazes me weekend after weekend how often I get…
“It’s our first time here”
“We’ve never been here before”
“What do we do..”

In fact I had a table say “It’s our first time here” yesterday and I just responded with a *sigh* and “I’m sorry”. 😂😂

They left so happy though!

I can’t believe our business.
I can’t believe our numbers.
I can’t believe how you guys just keep showing up, keep telling people about us…

We are so thankful.
Like really really really thankful.

I felt so hard that we gave mediocre service because of the pure volume of people and I’ve been told over and over by you that wasn’t the case.
