When we chose Milner as the place to open Buckalew’s on Main, we saw potential! ❤️ We saw a little town with a lot of heart — a place worth believing in, investing in, and growing alongside.

This community has poured so much love into Buckalew’s and we’ll always look for ways to pour it right back.

Right now, that means helping bring a new playground to Milner City Park! 🛝 The city & DDA have secured $74,245 toward our $150,000 goal, but we still need our community to help us get there!

This is bigger than a playground. It’s a place for little feet to run, friendships to grow, and families to make memories together. ❤️

We believed in Milner then. We believe in Milner now. Let’s build something special together.

Y’all… queso was already good….then Leigh Ann had to go and LOAD IT UP! 🤤

We’re talkin’ brisket + chopped chicken smothered in queso, drizzled with our house BBQ sauce, then piled with fresh pico, red onion, jalapeños, a dollop of sour cream & a little sprinkle of Tajín to finish it off! 👏

Served with our house made tortilla chips for scooping out every last bite!

This right here. 🖤🤍

One of our sweet senior customers needed a little help getting everything together and making it out to his car. Another customer overheard him asking for assistance and without missing a beat, got up and made sure he had everything he needed and got safely to his car.

He didn’t know him. He didn’t have to help. He just saw someone who needed a hand and gave one. 🥹

There are a lot of things to love about owning a small-town restaurant but getting to witness moments like this might be one of my favorites.

Good food is what brings people through our doors but good people are what make this place SO special. 🖤

Banana pudding is one of those desserts that doesn’t need an introduction… but we’re gonna give her one anyway!! 😏🍌

Creamy, dreamy, loaded with bananas, and topped with just the right amount of crushed wafers! 🤤

And yes… licking the cup is between you and the Lord. We don’t judge around here!!😂
