God Made You Different for a Reason ✨🙏🏽

You’ve always felt it. You see things differently. You question what others simply accept. And maybe you’ve spent years wondering, “What’s wrong with me?”

There was a time when I wondered the same thing because I didn’t want what everyone else seemed to want. But I finally realized: God never created me to be a copy of anybody else.

Your difference is not a mistake. It has purpose.

Sometimes God allows you to see what others don’t because He’s preparing you for something they may not understand. Sometimes you don’t fit into certain places because you were never assigned to stay there.

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee…” — Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)

God knew exactly who you would be before you ever took your first breath. So stop shrinking yourself, silencing your voice, or dimming your light just to fit in.

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” — Matthew 5:14 (KJV)

Your path may look different. Your timing may be different. Your calling may be different. And that’s okay.

You weren’t created to follow everybody else—you were created to follow God.

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” — Psalm 139:14 (KJV)

One day, the very things that made you wonder why you were different may become the things you thank God for the most.

Be who God created you to be. Walk your God-given path. Shine your light. You are different for a reason, and God knew exactly what He was doing when He created you. 🙏🏽❤️✨

❤️ SOMETIMES A MISUNDERSTANDING IS ALL IT TAKES ❤️

This video is funny 😂, but there’s actually a powerful lesson in it.

The man walked into the room asking, “Is there a black purse in here?” 👜 But the Caucasian man misunderstood him first and thought he said, “Is there a Black person in here?” He immediately questioned why the man would walk in asking for a Black person.

The Black woman then heard what the Caucasian man thought was said, and naturally, she took offense too. Before long, everybody was responding to something that was never actually said! 😂

The whole time, the man wasn’t looking for a Black person—he was looking for a black PURSE! 👜

Isn’t that how misunderstandings happen in everyday life? One person hears something incorrectly, repeats what they think they heard, and somebody else reacts to that version. Before you know it, feelings are hurt, attitudes change, and an entire situation has developed over words nobody actually said.

That’s why God’s Word teaches us:

📖 James 1:19 — “Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”

📖 Proverbs 18:13 — “He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.”

This is such a good reminder to listen carefully, seek understanding, and get the whole story before reacting. And be careful about reacting to what someone else says another person said. Sometimes they misunderstood it too!

Not every comment is an attack. Not every situation requires a defense. Sometimes we simply need to ask, “What did you actually say?” before allowing offense to enter our hearts.

📖 Proverbs 19:11 — “The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.”

So before we get upset, offended, or angry, let’s make sure we heard correctly. ❤️🙏🏾

Because sometimes nobody was looking for a Black PERSON at all… they were just trying to find a black PURSE! 😂👜

Listen first. Get understanding. Then respond. 🙏🏾❤️

This story is a powerful reminder that we never truly know what someone else is going through. Someone’s appearance may be the result of sickness, treatment, hardship, or circumstances they never chose. What may seem funny to one person could be something another person cries about when no one is watching.

Whether we agree with the father’s method of discipline or not, there is a valuable lesson here: our children must be taught that bullying, mocking, and tearing others down is never acceptable. Sometimes correction is necessary, but the ultimate goal should be to develop a heart of compassion, empathy, and love.

The Bible tells us:

📖 Luke 6:31: “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.”

God also reminds us in 1 Samuel 16:7 that while people look at the outward appearance, the Lord looks at the heart.

Before judging someone by what we see on the outside, remember that we don’t know their story. We don’t know their diagnosis, their struggles, their tears, or the battles they are fighting privately.

❤️ Teach our children to be the person who encourages instead of embarrasses, includes instead of excludes, and loves instead of laughs at someone else’s pain.

📖 Ephesians 4:32: “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted…”

Kindness costs us nothing, but to someone who is hurting, it can mean everything. Let the love of Christ be seen in how we treat one another. 🙏🏽

Trust the process. God is going to give you an OVERFLOW! 🙌🏽❤️

Sometimes the process doesn’t make sense while you’re going through it. Doors may close, people may walk away, plans may change, and you may find yourself wondering, “God, what are You doing?” But remember—God sees the finished picture while we can only see the step we’re standing on.

Don’t allow a difficult season to make you doubt what God promised you. What feels like a setback may actually be God repositioning you for something greater. What feels like a delay may be God preparing you so that when the blessing comes, you’ll be ready to receive it.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep walking by faith. Keep doing what God has called you to do. Your current season is not your final destination.

God is able to take what looked empty and make it overflow. He can restore what was lost, open doors no person can shut, and provide in ways you never expected.

📖 Psalm 23:5 — “My cup runneth over.”

📖 Ephesians 3:20 — “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think…”

📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 — “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

📖 Galatians 6:9 — “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

So TRUST THE PROCESS! What God is preparing for you may be bigger than what you’ve been praying for. The waiting wasn’t wasted. The tears weren’t wasted. The closed doors weren’t wasted. God can use every part of the journey.

Stay faithful. Stay encouraged. Your due season is coming, and when God pours it out, get ready for the OVERFLOW! 🙏🏽🙌🏽❤️

Your cup won’t just be filled—it shall run over!

Sometimes God will ask us to step back—not because He’s finished, but because He’s about to show us what only He can do.

In the video, it looked like the way was blocked. The driver even walked away from the car, and while everyone expected an argument, the car quietly made its way into the parking space.

That reminded me of God.

There are moments in life when obstacles seem to be standing between us and the blessings God has for us. We may not know what to do next, and sometimes the best thing we can do is trust God and let Him take over. When we surrender our frustration, fear, and need to control the situation, God has a way of opening doors no one can shut and making room where there seemed to be no room at all.

God doesn’t need us to fight every battle. He simply asks us to trust Him. What you can’t move, God can. What you can’t fix, God can. And what looks impossible to you is never impossible for Him.

“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
— Exodus 14:14 (KJV)

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

Be encouraged today: If God has ordained a blessing for your life, no person, obstacle, or circumstance can stop it. He knows how to make a way where there seems to be no way. Trust Him, stand in faith, and watch Him do what only He can do. 🙏🏾❤️
