💙🖤 Remembering Corporal Scott A. Wheeler 🖤💙
Today, we honor the memory of a great friend, a dedicated police officer, and a true public servant.
Corporal Scott Wheeler proudly served the citizens of Howard County with honor, courage, and commitment. Beyond the badge, Scott was a loyal friend to our owner, Jeremy Allen. The two shared countless conversations, stories, laughs, and spirited debates about sports. Whether it was the Raiders, the Redskins, or the Baltimore Ravens, their friendship was built on camaraderie, respect, and a shared love of the game. While Scott’s life was cut far too short, his impact on those who knew him and the community he served will never be forgotten.
Before opening Elephant in the Room, Jeremy made sure that a special place inside our restaurant would be dedicated to Scott’s memory. It serves as a daily reminder of a man who gave so much to others and whose friendship meant the world to those fortunate enough to know him.
Today, on the anniversary of his End of Watch, we pause to remember.
We remember his service.
We remember his sacrifice.
We remember his friendship.
And most importantly, we remember Scott.
End of Watch: June 18, 2007
“Heroes are never truly gone. They live on in the stories we tell, the lives they touched, and the communities they helped build.”
💙 Thank you for your service, Scott.
🖤 You are missed.
💙 You are remembered.
🖤 Always.
